The food: I got the Rib Plate with a loaded sweet potato and Mac & cheese. These are by far some of the best ribs I’ve ever had. They’re super tender and they’re so flavorful, whatever they’re putting in this is amazing. The ribs are HUGE. The sweet potato… also huge. Super buttery (how I like it.)
The Mac – this isn’t Krafts. This is some good ol’ southern mac, rich & cheesy.
The service: this kind of experience isn’t very common anymore. Some of the best customer service I’ve seen in a long time. Every person that works there is so welcoming and friendly – the owners and employees. These guys truly love what they do & it shows.
If you want the best BBQ in Indy, you’ve found it.I don’t care how far you gotta’ drive, this place is worth it.

The food was excellent! I’ve tried half the menu and, was never disappointed! The service is outstanding! I love the atmosphere it was comfortable and very welcoming. A place good enough to travel from anywhere in Hamilton County to Sheridan for the best bar barbecue.

The best brisket I’ve bought in a long time. No need for fancy rubs, all you need is salt, pepper, smoke and time. This was deeply flavorful, tender brisket and nicely complemented by green beans and corn casserole. Can’t wait to go back and try pulled pork, chicken and ribs. Husband and wife that run the place were super friendly, too.

Great little hidden gem on Main Street Sheridan! Limited hours, so make sure you check before you stop in. I got pulled pork with a side of baked beans and potato salad with chips. My wife got pulled pork nachos. Met both the owners and felt like family by the time we left. They dont mess around with there Texas style BBQ. Some of the best I’ve ever had. Highly recommended!…Oh and also grabbed some peach cobbler for dessert, it was literally perfectly made.

Listen… this place is incredible. The portions are big and every bit of it is delicious. The owner even brought me out sometging to try that I didn’t order. Down home feel with genuine Texas bbq taste. They have unique hours, but I think that matches the unique skill set they bring. 10/10 would recommend.

So the day before I was in town sitting across the street from the restaurant and I could smell the incredible Smokey aroma, but they were not open yet and I had to leave. The next day I came back (this time with my wife and children for business) and to my family’s delight they were open! Superb cook and flavor. We ate our dessert first sharing the peach cobbler alamode. Every spoonful was a dream come true (my daughters scraped the bottom and I was little mad I had to share lol) You better eat your brisket over your plate because it’s so juicy and tender it was falling apart before you get it into your mouth. The ribs and rib tips was smoked joy at my finger tips. The pulled pork and was so good accompanied by Sweet Baby Ray sauce and sliced pickles. My wife and children fought over the potato salad and baked beans while I fought to eat up the green beans. Never had green beans sweet and savory before but man. We took our food to go and we enjoyed ourselves down the street at the military park, we stopped outside the restaurant to give a slow clap for an amazing experience. Nathan’s customer care and service made us feel like family. Absolutely worth the 48 minute drive from Indianapolis to go back and we will be back what’s that old saying this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.
