I had to make a trip to Clifton forge today and decided to check out this restaurant. This one had relocated, so the location picture on Google doesn’t match the actual location. I had the country fried chicken which I never get because it’s usually greasy and so unhealthy but it was delicious, The greens and mashed potatoes were really good. I ordered an extra side of mac and cheese because they said it was homemade. It looked and tasted like something out of a box. That’s the only thing I don’t recommend everything else was delicious. The place was clean and decorated for Halloween. All of the staff was very friendly. I recommend eating here. They also have a bar with a stage for entertainment.

One of my husband and I’s favorite local place to grab food or a nice mix drink. Food is always great. They have their abc license and Derek the bartender makes amazing drinks.

Love this place! I live 3 hours away but am in the area fairly often and it’s a favorite spot. Just stopped in their new location and really like it.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt like it was needed after what I was served. We asked our waitress about the special, and she told us it was fried trout with rice and another side. I thought it would be pretty good, but it turned out to be grilled salmon with peppers and other toppings instead, which confused me at first. I still tried it, but it honestly tasted horrible. Not trying to nitpick, but my roll was burnt on the bottom, the rice was undercooked, but the fried apples were good.

Service: 10/10
We were greeted and seated promptly.

Cleanliness: 10/10
Very nice place. Very clean and presentable

Staff: 10/10
Our server got our drinks quick and took our order quick. The food didn’t take long and it was amazing

Atmosphere: 10/10
Very well decorated and they had some nice things for sale like tye dye shirts and I think candles

Busy: 8/10
It’s still relatively new so most of the locals are wanting to try this place.

Value: 6/10
I think the prices match the portions. They do give you a lot of food, but $12 for a burger and fries I thought was a bit much

Overall: 10/10
I highly recommend this place and give them as much feedback as you can, and watch this place flourish.

What a gem of a family restaurant. The food was great and plenty of it. I have the ‘Crazy Cousin 3-Egg Omelette’ …. Delicious! And my wife’s cob salad was huge with a wonderful variety of toppings. We’ll be back.

If you’re looking for comfort food that leaves you craving more then look no further than Family Tree T’s! The pancakes are so light and fluffy, and the omelet and country fries are sooo good. It was hot and delicious! It was a clean, welcoming restaurant and really friendly and attentive staff.

Family Tree Ts Cafe lures you with its warm, homey diner vibe and a cheerful hostess who lets you choose your seat. The fried pickles appetizer was the lone star—crisp, tangy, genuinely satisfying. But it’s all downhill from there.

The sweet tea? Bland and unremarkable. My wife’s cheeseburger, explicitly ordered no onions and well-done, arrived buried in onions and a pink, medium mess. My double ribeye, requested medium-rare, was served overcooked to well-done—a far cry from the juicy promise. When I pointed out the steak’s doneness disaster, the waitress tossed out flimsy excuses about the kitchen “still dialing in” temperatures and cooking times, with no offer to replace or fix it. Worse, these smaller “new” steaks carried the same price tag as the former 16-ounce ribeyes.

Sides? Coleslaw was decent, but the potato salad was a flavorless letdown, and the fries had an odd aftertaste like it was cooked in overused fryer oil. Service started rough—our waitress, delayed by a to-go order call, left us waiting for drinks with only a half-hearted apology. A measly 10% discount at the end was an insult for a meal this botched. Whatever chaos gripped Family Tree Ts Cafe that night, it’s not worth your time or money. I will not be going back and can not recommend it as a place to stop for food in the area. One star for the hostess and that appetizer.
