This place is absolutely exceptional! A product of Covid. The food is out of this world amazing, better than some of the most Michelin star restaurants I’ve tried!
The menu is constantly changing, but the consistency and quality quality never waiver! Everything is amazing from the tacos, to the pasta, taste amazing chicken dishes! There is literally nothing that this man cannot make, his delicious food is always served with a smile making you feel like home with every bite.

Wow- the food here is absolutely delicious. The flavors…. the way it’s cooked. This is not only a bagel shop, it’s more than that. The variety of food… there’s so much to choose from and you can’t go wrong.
Jarrett is also so attentive and the sweetest person ever. I witnessed him give a free slice of pizza to the mailman and it truly touched my heart.
Not only is he a great guy, but an amazing owner. 10/10 recommend!!!

I’m a local native of WO and have been a customer ever since Bagels by Jarrett opened and it NEVER disappoints (I used to be obsessed with the lawsuit w/ honey mustard)! any time I bring a dish to an outing or have a party people always ask me where did I get the amazing food! The wings and Caesar salad never misses!! I recently tried the chicken parm and burger sliders and they were amazing! I love Bagels by Jarrett and proud to be a loyal customer!

Go figure — At first I could not fathom that this joint was serving pizza, pasta, and mexican along with everything you would normally associate with a bagel. Jarrett had the audacity to start this food bazaar with a good bagel sandwich (best in Essex County – for those of you keeping score) then expand to every cuisine that could bring your comfort – and then some. No matter what you’re in the mood for – You would be hard pressed to NOT find 5 things you can’t choose between to order if you read through the entire menu.
Each and every dish, app, and pie I have tried has been a banger. The pasta’s and pizza are best in 10 miles – no joke. From here on out , for each new order I’m trying new things just to find what isn’t delicious — but the menu is soo deep this may take awhile – if I am even successful.
you can take your name + add a single breakfast option (aka “Bagel”) and voila … you just named the most delicious Italian, Mexican and breakfast sandwich joint in town (I just short changed this place on everything else that is on point here). The only suggestion I have is to change up the name …. At least add an “Esc” to the end.

I’ll be honest- I didn’t believe the hype before I finally got to eat BXJ. An excellent bagel shop that makes some of the best pizza in NJ? AND the best wings you’ll ever have? AND killer Mexican and Chinese offerings? I was so ready to be disappointed and smugly tell people they were wrong.
Dear reader, it was I who was wrong. Every dish I had at BxJ was one of the best, if not THE best I had ever had. My wife, sister, brother-in-law, and I were all legitimately blown away. It’s hard to understate the quality of the food.
And then there’s Jarrett- the man is not just a talented chef, but he is one of the most passionate and driven guys I’ve ever met in the food service industry. More importantly, you could see he cultivates an environment of respect, fun, exploration, and enthusiasm among his staff. Truly a leader who is keen to help people develop and grow- not a guy trying to service his ego.
Simply put, Jarrett and BxJ are a prime example of New Jersey excellence, and I can’t wait to go back.

Unusual spot, opens at 10am, and you enter thru adjacent pizzeria (which has numerous pizza slices in the window) Only 3 types of bagels, but the usual bacon, egg and cheese is on the menu. Good drink selection and various packaged deserts and salads in the fridge. Chicken salad, $10 for small container, was very good.

Due to Covid safety, ordering and payment is done outside. The items are prepared and brought out to you. It would be better if they have a sign displaying the specials and/or a large whiteboard to show you what items are available. This will save time for the people taking orders. The order was quick and accurate. The food was fresh and delicious.

My kids had the burger and pulled pork sandwiches. They said it was very good. All the sandwiches I ordered that came with fries had a good amount of fries.

Our family LOVES Bagels by Jarrett. I have never had a meal we didn’t enjoy. We love everything from the eggplant Caesar sandwich (LOE DOWN) to the roundish bar pie. You can’t go wrong with any option on the wide variety of options menu.
Last weekend we had a hiccup with the door dash order. I contacted the owner and within minutes he figured out what went wrong and he refunded us the entire meal plus extra for next time. It was the best customer service experience I’ve ever encountered for an error that happens sometimes.
