We had Maria’s delivered tonight. One person wanted spaghetti, one wanted strips, and one wanted pizza so now we have leftovers for days.The food arrived warm and would have been better if it would have arrived quicker so it would have been hot. The gentleman who delivered it was very nice even though it was very hot out he had a smile and appeared very friendly.

I ordered a taco, no black olives. Add pineapple and bacon. I got black olives all over it. No, meat, I have ate half the pizza and have not tasted any meat. Also my old lady ordered an all meat pizza and here’s a picture of that My total order was a large taco pizza add pineapple bacon. No black olives and medium all meat pizza. An order of onion rings and order of corn nuggets and two baskets of Fries and it came to $74. And I think this picture speaks for themselves.

I don’t why I keep ordering from here. I loved the Mozzarella Sticks and they stopped selling them. I still love the Italian Beefs but since they stopped putting them in containers and started wrapping them in paper/foil it sticks to the cheese. I loved the Tortellini but they started giving less pasta and less sauce making it dry yet raised the price. I can’t pay more for less product anymore. And just tonight my dad and I each ordered Chicken Strip Baskets. All of it was overcooked. We threw most of it away. Rarely is our chicken cooked perfectly. Sometimes we’re missing food and have to go back to get it. Everything used to be great but over the last couple years it’s gone way down hill.

I ordered a pizza when they opened tonight. They were swamped with orders since it was Friday night, but one woman employee offered to buy me a soda since I’d been waiting quite a while. That was very nice!! After 40 minutes my order was done and the pizza maker apologized to me for it taking so long to be ready. I assured them that I understood, and thanked them for their hospitality. I poured out my soda and placed the glass in the dish cart so someone didn’t have to clean it up, since they were so busy. I made sure to leave a generous tip in their tip jar. The pizza was delicious!!

We ordered pizza from here at 5pm with a 5:45 delivery time. The pizza didn’t show up until around 6:45pm. The dough was not cooked all the way through and it was a pretty miserable experience from start to finish. We spent well over $12 ahead of time to pay for the deliver fee and tip for terrible service and mediocre pizza at best.
Lesson learned. Never pay the tip ahead of time here. But that won’t be a problem for Francis Walden, he’s not coming back. A letter to corporate is being drafted right now.

Pizza is always amazing. Perfect crust, and cooked to perfection. If you’re looking for wings definitely get the hot bbq sauce. Anytime my family vacations in woodhaven lakes we make sure we make time to stop at Maria’s!!!

I stopped in this past weekend, the place was really busy. We almost went someplace else, but the food smelled AMAZING, so we sat at a table. We were greeted and got our menus. It was a short wait, but the waitresses were working quickly, despite being very busy, and were very helpful. We ordered a pizza and some chicken strips. We did wait about 20 to 25 min for our food, but it was worth the wait. Plus the owner Joe came out to chat with us and let us know it would be a few minutes. He was very friendly and took time to chat and make the wait seem short. I think he knew about everyone in the place by thier first name! The food came out, hot, fresh, and was very good. 1 order of chicken strips could feed 2 people! The pizza sauce was amazing, sweet and tasty. Everything is made fresh daily, according to the owner. My only issue was actually a rude customer who was arguing about onion rings! He could see they were slammed busy but I guess he thought his onion rings were more important than other customers. He was given his money back and was told they were sorry, but he still was angry even after he was refunded. I guess an $8.00 Onion Ring order is life for some people. I highly recommend Marias in Amboy and can tell you, It is worth the wait. I am more concerned about a restaurant that is empty. A busy place is what I look for, that should tell you the food is good! 5 Stars!
