Such an epic spot with incredible waffles. Seriously don’t think I have ever had a waffle like that packed with that much flavor. I got the Ringo and the Miner both were top notch. Absolutely incredible and the hospitality Kyle showed was 5 stars. One stop shop for breakfast in Big Bear.

Food, service, and friendliness was the best! Loved the waffles with syrup (Miner) and the Coffee (8teen). We also tried the Ringo (spicy!) which was amazing! This place is a must if you love waffles and/or coffee! Also, dogs are allowed in the patio area 🙂

After you had a ton of fun biking or skiing in Big Bear, LOCAL is the best place to come to eat and relax in a cozy environment. The place has an amazing set-up, welcoming atmosphere and wait until you taste the food. Must visit, try pulled pork with waffles! ❤️

Get yours before the word gets out!! I had high expectations for my first visit and those expectations were met and exceeded. Staff, decor, beverages and food were all exceptional. I’m afraid once the secret is out this will be one of those spots with a line out the door.

What a cool spot. You can tell the owner (same as Tropicali) really wants to make the best environment and food and he nailed them both. The service was amazing, the waffles were amazing, and the atmosphere is really cool here. It pays homage to the mining origins of Big Bear with amazing products both new and old. I can’t wait to come back again.

This place is Amazing!! Besides the delicious waffles and blueberry lemonade slushy and super friendly atmosphere it’s a one stop shop. Complete attraction for the family. Kids had a blast seeing all the western decor and the workers were so kind to them. Husband got a rad jacket and i got the most beautiful ring. We will be frequent patrons.
