Melty is located in the Landstown Commons Shopping Center. They are located in the middle area where Chipotle and others are located. Parking out front is limited and see it full most of the time. There is additional parking available behind that part of the shopping center, which is where I would normally park to avoid the bustle of the front facing parking. My most recent visit here was on October 23, 2025.
Once you come inside, you can see the inside is pretty small all things considered. The maximum occupancy allowed is only 52 people. The inside features lots of Melty logos and such too. There is an ordering kiosk to the left after entering, or you can order at the counter.
My first visit here was on June 20, 2025. My mom was with me as well, so we both got some food items while here. We had gotten a coupon in the mail, so that’s how I first found out about the business. It was a busy time since it was during the noon hour. At the counter, there is also a Melty Bingo card that you can use to earn items as you try different menu items. They also have an app and loyalty rewards program.
On this first visit, after looking over the options, I went with the Chicken Parmesan Melty and Cheese Curds as a side. My mom got the Four Cheese Classic Melty with a cup of the Cheesy Broccoli Soup. After about 5-10 minutes, our food was ready. They did forget the cheese curds, but they fixed that pretty quickly. They gave me the full order of it instead of just the amount for a side due to that. I don’t normally do sandwiches and such too often since I try to keep my blood sugars under control. However, the Chicken Parmesan Melty and Cheese Curds were so good. Yes, it did spike my blood sugars, but I don’t do this often. The food definitely hit the spot, and my mom really liked the soup and Four Cheese Melty too.
I hadn’t been here in a while, so I came back for a second time on October 23, 2025. This time, my mom and I came in for an early dinner. It wasn’t busy at the time, so it was good to have some time to look over the options. On this visit, I decided to try the Melty Burger, adding bacon and using pepper jack cheese instead along with Cheese Curds. My mom just did the Cheesy Broccoli Soup cup this time. The food didn’t take long since it was pretty quiet at the time. The Melty Burger was excellent. It was cooked just right and had some good flavors with it. The Cheese Curds were just as good as the previous visit too. Although my blood sugar spiked, it was still a great treat as it’s not something I do often.
Overall, I have had very good experiences with both visits. They also offer a 10% Military or 10% Senior Discount as well. You may just need to ask for that. The staff on both visits were attentive and willing to answer any questions we had. This place is definitely worth checking out if you are in this part of the city and looking for something to eat.

Stopped at Melty while we were in Virginia from Pennsylvania.
I’d never heard of Melty, so I was intrigued. We were in a plaza area with multiple places to try out and this was my choice.
My friend choose indian food (top half of the food photo) and she was jealous of mine after she had a bite.
I purchased my meal to go and I chose the mac and cheese and the patty melt sammy. Heavens, that sammy was phenomenal!!!
Service wasn’t exceptional, but it wasn’t bad either- just ordinary.
The dining area isn’t very large- wouldn’t be suitable for a large group.
I’d definitely choose Melty again if we were to come across one.

My husband heard about this new restaurant and we decided to try it. I oreder the French Dip with au jus, and my husband got BBQ brisket. The French Dip was the classic taste and flavor. The cheese had a nice pull and the bread and a nice toast, not burnt and not oover buttered. The portions were balanced and thr sandwich did not feel heavy in the tummy. A side of loaded tots rounded out the meal. We got some funnel cake fries, which had a nice e crunch and a dusting of powdered sugar for sweetness.
We enjoyed it and will definitely come back.

What’s one of the best classic comfort foods you can have? A grilled cheese! Who has amazing grill cheeses that are next level? Melty in Landstown Commons! I had the pleasure of trying them out for the first time a couple of days ago and they were phenomenal! From the staff to the food it was a 20/10! I would share pictures of the food we ate but we were too busy enjoying the food that we forgot to take the pictures but let me tell you it’s worth the trip to experience it for yourselves! we ordered The Classic, Chicken Parm and The Cuban for the sandwiches, onion rings, loaded fries and cheese curds for the sides, tomato basil soup for dipping and an Oreo milkshake for dessert. Everything was fresh, perfectly crisped and delicious. So give them a shot you won’t be disappointed!

The owner knows what he’s doing, very friendly, sociable, polite, hard working, puts love & care into making your meal. I got the spicy chicken & the sauce on there was completely delicious & every bite lasted a lifetime. My ONLY take away is that the spicy chicken could be a tad more spicy; I didn’t really feel that “kick” from the meal. But the sauce was lovely, the chicken was perfect, my loaded fries were amazing (I don’t know what that yellow sauce was but it’s delicious as well), the service was amazing, professional & done quick for a one man crew. He rocks & I’ll definitely be coming back.

Josiah, Bryan, and Randy provided a great atmosphere for me to come. They assisted me in finding a great meal option. I was unsure what to get, and Randy suggested the spicy chicken sandwich, and it was delicious! They all deserve a raise. This is the best food joint in the Landstown shopping center.

Food was so yummy! We had the patty melt, the turkey BLT, melty mac and the cheesy tots. We also had chips and drinks. Let me first start out by saying YummmmY! Everything was so good and melty. The icing on the cake was they had coke products!! Yes you read that right coke products in Virginia lol.
It was really full and they only had 3 people working so the wait was a bit long but once the food got there it didn’t matter. Everything was freshly made. The toast was toasted to perfection just the right amount of sauce so it wasn’t dripping but still melty in the sandwich and more than enough meat. The place its self is small but everyone that wanted to eat there was able to. It was very clean and the workers were definitely hustling to make the orders! Great place to eat some even better food!

We found this place by chance when shopping in Landstowne Commons and what a find! We love grilled cheese sandwiches so this hit the spot. My husband ordered the 4 cheese sandwich with tots. He let me try one and just like previous reviewers stated, they were crunchy and delicious. I ordered the chicken noodle soup and a barbecue chicken ranch half salad and both were amazing. I’m so glad we found this unique lunch spot. Give it a try. You won’t be disappointed.

For the price you pay the food was definitely worth it! I got the Patty Melt and my friend got the Chicken Parm – we both really liked what we got. I’d recommend it to anyone for lunch, but not for anyone in a rush. Staff is still training and learning, so if you go – bring your kindness with you. Wait was only 10-15 minutes and the food was very good!

Stopped in with my son on a whim after noticing they were open and I am so glad I did! Very clean and bright dining room with full view of the prep area. It’s so cool seeing the sandwiches go through the oven!!!! The staff were super friendly and talk us through their options. I had the Pork BBQ melt with fries and a side of the tomato basil soup for dipping and my son had their burger and fries. The little man is somewhat of a picky eater but absolutely demolished that burger. My BBQ melt was crunchy and gooey. Loaded with pork. The soup for dipping is a game changer. If you are in the area stop by and get yourself a sandwich but also remember they are a new business with new employees that are still learning. Show some patience and it will be rewarded with deliciousness.
