I placed a cake order in person on February 11th. The employee who took my order said his son would call me to confirm the details because of a language barrier, which he did. I gave the full details of the cake design and also asked about picking up cupcakes on Sunday and the cake on my birthday. I was told Sunday evening pickup would be fine even though they are normally closed.
On February 27th, I returned in person to confirm everything. The owners were there, and I asked if everything was good for pickup. I also showed them the photo of the cupcake design I had sent. I was told everything was fine and to come at 3pm on Sunday.
When I arrived Sunday at 3pm and called to let them know I was outside, I was told they had been trying to call me, that they did not have the design photo, and that the cupcakes were not ready. I had no missed calls. I asked to cancel the cupcakes and confirmed the cake would still be ready the next day. I was told yes.
The next morning, I received a message accusing me of lying and stating they never received the design details, despite my multiple confirmations in person.
I had not paid yet because they requested payment at pickup. However, I made every effort to confirm the order ahead of time. I literate don’t know what went wrong. While I understand miscommunication can happen, being accused of dishonesty instead of the issue being resolved professionally was disappointing , especially for a birthday order.
I hope they improve their communication and order confirmation process in the future. God Bless.

We were picking up a U-Haul and while waiting I moseed into the bakery. I was so excited to learn that they make all the things in-house. Wonderfully soft donuts. Fresh pan. They even have Cuban sandwiches.

I went to this bakery yesterday around lunch time. It is beautifully decorated and chic on the inside. We were greeted by the owners warmly. They had a nice variety of baked goods as well as hot food. We tried the Cuban sandwiches, conchas, tamales (Guatemalan), churros, and donuts. The sandwich was huge and SO GOOD!The owners were happy to answer our questions about different items and were overall helpful. Everything was fresh and tasted delicious. They also serve coffee, and had cakes and piñatas (custom) available for purchase. They have been in business for almost a year and they have so many wonderful foods and baked items available at excellent prices. I would highly recommend this place! We will definitely be coming back.

Freshly baked goods every day! Their baked goods are delicious and so reasonably priced! The owners are very kind and friendly and run this wonderful family-owned place. I have yet to try their food on the weekends, but I’m sure it’s just as delicious as the pastries!

I’m writing a review on behalf of my family that went into the bakery. The first experience wasn’t great. The woman that served was extremely irritable. But my mom liked the food and went back a second time with my brother.
This time, the lady was irritable like before. She goes to check them out and bag their food and one of the pastries falls on the counter. My brother requested a replacement and she became irate. She started saying how they thought they were too good for their establishment. Mind you, we’re very humble, kind people. Especially since we work in the service industry. They escorted my brother and mom out since at this point, we don’t want to purchase anything there.
If you don’t like working with people/the public, then don’t be in this industry. It’s very simple or put someone else at the counter that is actually kind and polite and has some home training. “Mal educado” is the term she used to describe them, when she’s the one who is “mal educada.”
Do yourselves a favor and go to another local place like Moreno Bakery or somewhere similar. Save yourself the poor experience.
