Review: My Experience with Caruso’s (Mistaken for Crazy Buzzi’s)
I originally tried to order from Crazy Buzzi’s, but the link on Google redirected me to Caruso’s without making it obvious. I only realized it wasn’t the same restaurant after arriving and seeing a completely different setup. I even stopped by both places to try to figure out the mix-up — which was confusing and annoying.
Caruso’s was empty, which is usually not a great sign for a food spot. But I decided to give it a shot anyway.
Unfortunately, the food was one of the worst meals I’ve ever had:
The onion rings tasted like they were fried in old oil — very unpleasant.
The chicken was dry, with no flavor or freshness.
The bread was soggy, making the sandwich fall apart.
The tomatoes were bad, like they were past their shelf life.
I honestly couldn’t eat most of it. I ended up throwing the majority of it away.
It was frustrating to:
Be misled by the online listing.
Waste time driving to multiple places.
Spend money on something I couldn’t eat.

Huge disappointment. Ordered a small spinach and feta calzone that cost $16 with Uber eats fees. No feta and very little mozzarella. So blahh. Never ordering this again

Caruso’s is now under new management. And now has a Halal menu!!!!
We showed up 30 minutes AFTER the place closed and they were still kind enough to prepare any pizza of our choice off their menu.
We ordered the Meat Lovers Pizza (item #1). Well-seasoned, generous spread of toppings across the (massive) large pizza. Tastes great, with perfect dough thickness. Would have loved some veggies, but you can build your own!
The people who own/operate the place seem like wonderful people too (they let us order 30mins after close, that’s awesome).
High recommend!

I’ve only had a slice since the new management and staff took over, it’s was a pretty good slice better than I remember from the old staff. Will give more stars after I have a whole pie or a meal and look at the new prices. Staff was definitely on point kind and quick can’t ask for more from a fast food shop.
