Dude literally perfect was passing through from visiting the springs and was so pleasantly surprised at the quality and perfection of my order I never leave reviews but this one deserves 5 stars all day. Don’t skip on this place friendly staff and great cook the food looks exactly like the pictures according to my wife. Ate the burgers before I could even snap a pic.

Stopped in at Wayback Burgers in Lithia and was pleasantly surprised. The burgers are solid and cooked well, and the Cajun Burger was the standout. The seasoning had a great kick and the Cajun sauce was even better—definitely worth trying if you like a little spice.
The staff were super friendly and helpful, which made the visit even better. It’s not a fancy spot, but it delivers exactly what you want in a good burger joint. I’d definitely come back if I’m in the area.

Everything was really good. Food, service, and atmosphere were great. Small menu with classic burger favorites and some items with a new twist. Efficiently run with small team. Clean environment is the most impressive factor for me regarding restaurants….especially the restroom. A+ for my first visit. Enjoy

Since the first time I’ve tried Wayback I’ve been coming back – sometimes way too much lol! The staff is always pleasant and friendly! Freddy 1, is always there to greet me and make sure I get my burger in a timely fashion (I often dine in on lunch breaks). I always appreciate how clean it is as well! Now I’ve got to mention the food in this review and it’s a no brainer it’s always fresh, hot, and tasty! I’m obsessed with their “cheesy burger” and Cajun fries! My mouth waters just thinking about it! Very affordable and always a pleasure to dine here during lunches! I live in Ruskin and frequent this location during my lunch but I’d make the 40 minute drive just for service alone! The owner is always hard at work also and greets customers with the a friendly hello! definitely a must try!

My teens and I went for burgers here last night 9/27. I was thoroughly impressed with how accomodating the staff was in general and even more so once I shared that my son has food allergies. The gentlemen who took our order was fun to speak with and very knowledgeable about ingredients and menu items my son should avoid. He even called the cook over to confirm and inform the cook that my son has food allergies. The gentlemen who cooked/made my son’s burger was sure to clean the area before beginging my son’s burger. He also created a burger with tortillas instead of buns because my son cannot have the buns. There was never a moment where I felt we were bothering them with our questions – they made us feel so welcomed. Once our food came out, everything was perfection. The cook even visited with us and asked how the burgers turned out.
We ordered the cheesy, the classic & my son order a bacon double no cheese, no bun – substitute tortillas(milk/dairy, egg, peanut/treenut allergy) – the three of us enjoyed our meals and are still very appreciative with the staff that truly went above and beyond for us. Thank you WayBack Team!!! We will be back 🙂
Oh, and the strawberry hibiscus lemonade was very refreshing!
