Update:
Wow. I think this place has changed ownership. This used to be the gem of Belmont. Now it’s the embarrassment of it.
The food was inexcusable. The dough wasn’t just “a little undercooked” — it was raw. Gummy, sticky, and doughy in the center like it had barely seen the oven. This isn’t a minor slip. This is basic quality control completely missing.
Calling to place the order was the first red flag. The person who answered had music blasting so loudly I could hardly understand him. I had to repeat myself several times. When I told him I was at a well-known location two doors down, he had no idea where that was and asked for the full address — which is concerning for someone handling local deliveries.
Then, without warning, he said delivery would be an hour and a half… and immediately hung up before I could respond or cancel. No confirmation. No professionalism. Just click.
This place used to be dependable, friendly, and worth recommending (enthusiastically!) Now it feels chaotic, careless, and completely indifferent to the customer experience. Belmont deserves far better than this level of decline.

What happened to this place? It used to be really good. We waited an hour and 40 minutes and received cold burnt pizza that tasted like cardboard. Wings are horrible. I never complain but do yourself a favor and get Dominos

Well, I thought I would give Joes Touch of Italy a second chance.
I order a pizza tonight and indicated on the order that half of the pizza needed to have less cheese. The pizza was a veggie pizza that was supposed to have vegetables on the WHOLE pizza, instead there all thrown to one side. I have never had such a bad pizza as I did here. Not only were the vegetables not evenly distributed the bottom crust was like mush and so thin that you could not pick it up to eat.
I don’t mine paying for a good pizza but this was not at all worth $31.00. The attached photo is of the pizza I received tonight. No more chances here.

Take out only, but it truly is the best option in Belmont. Pizza is thin crust and done right! The cheesy bread was personally my favorite but the garlic knots were also fantastic. The prices were really good for what we got. We also really loved the marinara sauce. We will definitely return!

I’ve been a loyal customer of this pizza place for years because the quality has always been great. I’m not usually someone who complains, but the last pizza I received was very poorly made—it honestly looked like there was no effort put into it. I’ve had better quality from far less experienced cooks. When I called, the manager did issue a refund, but the way it was handled came across as “nice with an attitude.” I really hope the restaurant can get back to the standard it once had, because the quality has definitely gone downhill lately. A kid took a bite out of it before I saw it that was not from the place.. so I felt bad complaining and they asked if the rest of the food was good. I said it’s fine but now that I’m going into it the baked ziti is terrible. Everything is terrible. I’m done with it. Get ur last cook or close down, if u don’t care anymore. Trash food don’t buy it . It used to be awesome.

First timer. Had it on good authority that the pizza was great … turned out to be true ! Most NYC “walk up” style pizza we’ve found in the Charlotte area. Thin crust and flavorful. Will definitely return – give it a try !

Btw – the ordering system is ez too. Hope you like it

Joe’s pizza has consistently missed the mark for me. The crust was harder than expected, which made it tough to enjoy. Parts of it were burnt, and unfortunately, the flavor just didn’t come through. And if that wasn’t enough, the pizza was so thin, almost like they are trying to save money on dough.

Also this has been a consistent issue Joe’s has had the last few month and no coincidence, owners changed during that time.

I shared their post about lunch specials a while back, but I’d never tried them. After driving by to pick up my son from school for two years, I decided that today was a great day to give it a go!
We got an early dinner with a small pepperoni pizza, a small supreme w/o ham or sausage (it’s a cheaper version than building your own with everything else that comes on it), a large veggie pizza, garlic knots and the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls.

Everything was fresh and delicious! Great char to the crust, great flavor, real bacon, spicy pepperonis, just overall great tasting food. Crust is a thinner crust that’s crunchy and chewy in all the right places. I’d only enjoy more cheese, but it’s a solid pizza.
The garlic knots weren’t my fave, I like a little more yeasty doughiness, but the marinara is money!
The egg rolls could use some onion and green pepper, but they were flavorful-a little over cooked, but good.
I live off Union/Armstrong, and everything was still piping hot when it got home.
This is our favorite pizza so far. And, we’ve tried a few.

We’ve ordered here plenty of times and as of late I believe the food has been going in the wrong direction. This is the spicy meatball pizza I received. Very odd shape and burnt on the bottom. I am baffled that someone would send it out like this. This along with mozzarella sticks was $37.90 and someone thought it was ok to send this to a customer. I don’t believe we will be ordering from here anymore unfortunately.

I really enjoyed ordering from Joe’s. Yet, the last two times I have ordered the pizza wasn’t cooked well. The dough in the center was mushy. It seems like it was thrown together and rushed out the door. The first time I experienced this I figured next time I will order earlier. Tonight I ordered at 7:27. The pizza showed up it was hot. Upon opening the box the toppings had slid off and the center was not cooked. I am extremely disappointed.
