When Im in Trail we usually stop in at Pinos at least 3 time in a week.
This time around I only went once as the food changed from the last couple years ago I was there. I think they changed the chefs.
The food looks good but man we didnt feel good for 2 days after we ate it. I only finished 1/4 of my meal.
The indisn lady server was definitely new she came over to serve food and knocked a full peroni beer into my brushetta bread.
I won’t be returning next time I am in Trail.

Dining out is about creating a warm experience and serving with love. This place is just that. It has the warmth of a family run place – they brought my wife a rose as we sat down for dinner. The portion sizes are quite huge. I had the pork rib special and the fall off the bone meat in tomato sauce was too good. Would definitely drop by when in town.

This is cutest Italian restaurant. We travelled from Calgary to visit a friend and we devoured our meals! The owner is the sweetest, most genuine man and came around and gave everyone in the restaurant a rose. I had the lasagna and recommend. My daughter had the cream ravioli and devoured it and my friend had the Alfredo with prawns. Strawberry tiramisu for dessert. Will be back next time we visit.

In town on business for 2 days, and on my last night I thought I’d try this place. Wish I found it sooner, as that was quite possibly the best Lasagna I have ever eaten. The garlic bread was delicious, and the portion sizes are more than fair. I will be eating here again next time I’m in Trail. Well done, Pinos!

Two of us came on a Sunday night in January. No trouble getting a table. We ordered the Italian salad, caprese salad, pasta arrabiata and gnocchi with tomato sauce. All were very good and flavorful. They had several NA beers on the menu, and lots of cold water.

Perfect little spot for dinner. Food was great, staff was attentive and friendly – never ran out of water and didn’t wait long to order. Food was made fresh and came out HOT (as it should). First thing when we sat down, the owner brought roses to the ladies at the table. What a nice touch.

Where do I begin??
My husband and I met my two oldest children in Trail to visit with my youngest who lives there.
On our last night together, we decided to go to Pinos for dinner. Are we ever glad that we did!
Us girls were brought beautiful red roses by Pino and were greeted so warmly by himself and our lovely server, Adhi.
Our food was incredible (I ordered a veal dish) and everyone raved about how delicious their meals were. Pino even suggested a red wine to my daughters that they very much enjoyed.
We had a great conversation with Pino and learned a bit about his home town in Italy and about the decisions that led him to now living in Trail. We even got to see photos of his cute pup and shared a lot of lively banter with himself and Adhi.
We ordered the Tiramisu to share and we all agreed that it was the BEST that we have ever had.
We were brought a shot of Limoncello for the table and were very grateful for the kind gesture.
We will definitely be back, every time we come back to visit our daughter and appreciate the memorable evening!

Love this place both for the atmosphere and the food. The owner is a character who’s personality just complements the whole dining experience he offers. It’s our “go to” restaurant every time we ski Red Mountain.
