We called to ask if they were open and if they had a buffet. They said they did and were open until 6pm. After driving from the next town over, we got there at 5:15 pm and the doors were locked. The lady inside just looked at us and refused to open the door. We will not be back.

Mimi’s place was recommended two years ago to a friend and I. The hour and forty five minute drive was well worth the trip! It was a beautiful drive to this sweet little diner. We had a wonderful conversation with the owner Carolyn. The food and hospitality was awesome. We had a Mike burger made with local grown beef with a special sauce. A must try. We will definitely return to try that sell out catfish dinner.

A little hard to find since their sign is down but worth the extra effort. The Saturday special was not available but the roast beef meal was very good. The butterscotch pie was delicious. Love small out of the way diners and this one fit the bill. Great , attentive waitress and everyone (customers included) were very outgoing and friendly. We will be back.

I’m a big guy so portion size could be bigger but I guess you can always order more food! If you’re going to order more food it would be here because the food and staff were both amazing. I highly recommend going after Church on Sunday with your Family!

This a very nice place to go to when you want to chill out for a bit. Great food, it sits off the.road on New Paintsville rd (US 460) quietly tucked in between 2 hills beautiful location this place is a must try on everyone’s list.
