I ordered the pork Banh Mi Sandwich.
Bread was not crispy on the outside and inside was very thin. The pork meat had some flavor, the carrots didn’t have and pickle flavor and didn’t have enough to be able to taste the carrots. Presentation is a fail and didn’t look very appetizing. For the price you would expect to have a better sandwich. The sandwich didn’t taste like a real Vietnamese sandwich that other restaurants make.

I just arrived at the airport at 6am, and had a 4 hour layover and I was starving from a red eye flight. These guys were just right when they opened up at 6am. I ordered a wonton noodle soup and a chicken bahn mi. Honestly it was a perfect fit after a flight from hawaii. The soup was well flavored and steaming hot in which it was perfect and the bahn mi was a very good size and well filled. sometimes food at the airport can be under portion for the price you pay but for Bambuza i was satisfied for what i paid for. Not disappointed at all. I was very happy after the meal from a red eye and somewhat uncomfortable flight. I would definitely order from here next time if I ever stop off into PDX.

The good: food looks good, is healthy, and comes out quick.
The bad: they seem to over cook their chicken. I returned the first one it was so dry, everything is coming off fresh, just over cooked. The service, they will literally walk right past you talking and ignore you. I didn’t tip, and now I’m glad I didn’t.

I was looking for some healthy food and found it! Great tasting chicken, and service was great. An airlines was supposed to cover my meal but there was a glich, and the restaraunt manager came to my rescue and covered it! God Bless him and his business

I don’t normally eat Vietnamese but this place was better than expected. I had the garlic glazed pork loin with noodles with a spring roll, tasty. There was more meat than I expected which was a bonus. I sat and ate at the bar, service was quick. There’s lots of seating here as well as you can see in the pics. Thanks Bambuza for a decent meal.

The banh mi chicken sandwich looked great but had bland flavor. They had just 3 beers on tap, two craft beers and one mas produced beer. The bake breaker IPA was very good.

Pleasantly surprised. The young man who took my order was tidy, friendly, and looked happy to do his job rather than the bored or disgruntled look you can often find at quick grab & go locations.
My meal was tasty & simple. The employee offered me a bag to make it easier to transport and added couple of extra napkins.
Bit spendy, maybe that’s what plant based costs. Great meal before my flight.
