Lovely staff and great food. Nice size portions. Cute inside. Would recommend. We were there at lunch and there weren’t lunch size options. They were doing steady business. A bit pricy but I guess thays the way it is now. $60ish for 3 entrees.

Incredible little Thai restaurant right in the middle of the DC tourist area. The customer service is outstanding! We walked in on Saturday afternoon for lunch and were seated right away and given waters. The servers were fast and helpful, answering our questions.
Our food was delivered very fast, but was fresh and hot! The Duck Panang was great! The Pad Thai was also delicious! They don’t skimp on meat either. Both our dishes were loaded with protein!
If you’re in the DC Metro area for a visit, make sure to stop by Tip Thai!

Do not get drunken noodles from this place. I ordered delivery and there is no broth in the bowl and it’s spicy but not the flavorful spice… just hot. I chose the “medium” spice selection. My one star is for the mango sticky rice, and the mango sticky rice only.

If you visit DC, don’t forget to stop by Tip Thai near the National Mall. It’s super easy to get to, right in the heart of the museums. The food is 5-star delicious and the owner, P’Ann, is incredibly kind. ❤️

Awesome food right near the National Mall. The duck basil is wonderful: crispy, tasty, delicious. Thai milk tea is great as well: I can taste the tea flavor, not just the sugar.
I ended up coming back again the next day, because of the convenience and the great quality. The curry was alright too. The taro milk tea is awesome at 30% sugar.
Service was consistently fast, friendly, courteous. I am very happy with that.
Overall, this is a great, convenient restaurant.

This is Thai fast food and it is what you’d expect in a good way.
This place is standard Americanized fast food. The goal is to get you in and out. The tastes and textures are what you’d expect from a fast serve Asian restaurant and the spice is toned way down for Americans.
The chicken wings were crispy and a bit sweet. They had a weird fish taste to them. The cashew chicken was exactly as described and was not overly salty which can happen. Just enough to give it flavor.
The drunken noodles are chewy and flavorful but not spicy. A very small kick but not what you’d get with authentic.
If you want fine dining Thai food, this is not for you. If you want fast food with all the flavors and reasonable prices, this is a great spot. Especially when you’re in a hurry.

Great Thai meal near the National Mall. I enjoyed the Spicy Fried Rice with Chicken, and my wife had the Beef Drunken Noodle. Both at a HOT spice level of 7 (out of 10), which resulted in us drinking a few glasses of water each. We also ordered a single side of steamed vegetables for a more healthy balanced meal. One of our better dining experiences during our 9-day D.C. visit.

I went here with my friends and we decided to order family style. We went during lunch and it wasn’t too busy. The service was quick, attentive, and friendly. We got the drunken noodles, chicken, pad Thai, fried rice, and some other dishes I’m forgetting. Each dish was packed with flavor and I left full. The prices are reasonable as well. I still think about the drunken noodles, which were phenomenal. It carried various spices, none of which overwhelmed the other. The spice level was perfect and if you wanted more spice one could ask. I desire to come here again.
