I stopped by Tropical Smoothie in Evans, Georgia today and had an absolutely phenomenal experience thanks to Damaya. Her customer service was outstanding from the moment I walked in. She was friendly, welcoming, and extremely knowledgeable about the menu.
Damaya helped me choose a smoothie and made an incredible recommendation that ended up being one of the best smoothies I’ve ever had. You can tell she truly cares about giving customers a great experience.
Great service like that deserves to be recognized. Damaya represents the brand extremely well and made my visit memorable. I’ll definitely be back because of the level of professionalism and positivity she brought to the store today.

So I have been a few times in the last few weeks and least to say is I am extremely irritated. I used to go all the time when they first opened and it was wonderful and affordable but recently they have gone so far down hill. I normally get a sunrise sunset with xtra ice and the last few times they have done the complete opposite of what I asked and basically gave me really cold orange juice and this time I found a piece of styrofoam from another cup in my smoothie. One other time I had got the pb and banana protein I asked for without cacao nibs and the just said sub it with peanut butter which I didn’t ask for, so basically it was a just peanut butter smoothie. The workers have a complete attitude everytime I go in there especially recently and never give me my MINOR things in my smoothie like extra ice which is just 1 more scoop or taking something away. They almost put Greek yogurt instead of non fat because she didn’t know where the non fat was. I paid wayyy too much for the attitude and poor quality smoothie I get and a VERYYY disappointed about the styrofoam in my smoothie like how do you not see that??? Wouldn’t recommend until they fix the staff situation

Ordered a chia oat pudding with fresh strawberries substituted for the banana. They put frozen strawberries and blueberries in my bowl and when questioned about it the guy advised they don’t have fresh fruit at that location! Which is a lie I’ve had fresh berries from them before. I do not like the inconsistency in quality ingredients so I will not be patronizing this location again. I’ll stick with the Alexander Dr. location where they know me by name and everything is as advertised.

I am super disappointed when I got lunch today. I got the peanut butter cup smoothie with extra peanut butter. I was expecting a nice creamy smoothie but all I got was a chunky icy drink. I couldnt finish it I got so frustrated trying to drink through the straw from huge chunks of ice blocking it. It felt like I was drinking from a sink slurping chunky ice and chunky banana while tasting like sweet water was gross. I pretty much didnt even taste peanut butter at all, I may have just paid extra for nothing
I did online order and nobody even addressed me or looked at me. The lady in front of me was clearly ignoring me and got annoyed when I asked about the mobile order. They didnt even say thank you or anything.
Food was ok, I got the chicken pesto flatbread but the chicken felt really undercooked and rubbery.
All in all, I’m just sad. I love tropical smoothie but this was just so unfortunately bad I had to write a review.

Dragon fruit bowl was advertised as having fresh fruit but there was nothing fresh about these canned/ processed pineapple pieces and frozen fruit. The cafe smelled like bleach to the point where it wasn’t safe for me to wait for my food inside. Staff was friendly.

I placed my order via their website and had a co worker picked it up. I got the Mango Smoothie but not my flatbread. Instead I got someone else DOORDASH sandwich wrap. I tried calling but they only have automated answering and said they would send a text message that I never received! I’m beyond pissed!

I came in to order an Açaí bowl. I waited about 10 minutes before going to check about my order (I went to the restroom so thought maybe they called it while I was away). Both of the staff looked at each other confused (including the person that took my order!?) then found a half made bowl on the prep station and said this must be it but were out of blueberries. They were just ignoring the order instead of seeing if I wanted a substitute?!?

My youth group went here before they closed one night. The employees were extremely rude. The employees probably wanted to go home early. They messed up our order and would not fix it because they said they were closed. I was GOING to leave a one star review, but for whatever reason I forgot. The next week our youth group paid for us to go again. While we were there, we struck up a conversation with a lady. She was the nicest and sweetest lady on earth! Turns out she was the owner. After she found out the outreach we were doing in the community she decided to give us all smoothies on the house! It was very interesting to see the same rude employees now making our smoothies for free… and happily. After that, we continued to come back all summer long. That owners act of kindness towards us won faithful customers. Even if the employees are not the greatest, we will always remember the owner!

I came in today and ordered my usual and a young man this morning made it perfectly the way I liked it so quick didn’t even have to sit down. He also was so kind and polite definitely coming back again. Didn’t get a name but the name tag says goat. Keep up the good work Tropical !!!
