Got over charged order 5 tacos side of guacamole and some chips was charged 30 dollars. Got our Oder was given the tiniest drop of guacamole. When I asked this is what I paid for was told she didn’t charge me for it they had ran out so why didn’t she say they were out . So I then said so I paid 30 for 5 tacos that only 20 dollars she then said you ordered nachos so when I asked for chips she charged me for nachos . So I paid full price for nachos that I did not order for the chips never knew chips would cost me almost 10 bucks . All she had to say is I can give you 5 dollars back . So still winded up paying 5 dollars for chips and she was clearly upset cuz I had question what I was charge for.

When we pulled up to Tacos Al Pastor, it seemed like the staff had just come back from smoking weed in the back. Unfortunately, that same lack of focus carried over into the food.

The service didn’t help either—the girl at the window was very rude, unwelcoming, and didn’t seem interested in being there. We ordered our food to go, but even then the attitude left a bad taste before the food ever did.

We ordered the quesabirrias, which came out looking messy and thrown together. Instead of being rich and flavorful, they were burnt, dry, and completely lacking in taste. The pastor tacos, which should be the truck’s signature, were equally disappointing—the meat was dry, flavorless, and felt like they were made without any real passion.

To make matters worse, our total came out to over $90, which felt outrageous for what didn’t seem like a lot of food. For the price they’re charging, the quality just doesn’t match up. Honestly, you can get much better and more authentic food at spots like Ta Carbon or Joe’s Tacos, and at an equally priced point.

It’s especially sad because when this place first opened, the quality was noticeably better. It seems like ownership may have changed over the years, and the passion that once made this truck great has disappeared.

Overall, a very disappointing experience. I truly want to support small businesses, but Tacos Al Pastor needs to seriously re-focus on quality, flavor, service, and consistency if they want to live up to their name and prices.

Tough to give 5 or 4 stars… food was decent to good. I didn’t get tacos as I’ve been getting everywhere as they seemed expensive. Got a regular burrito it had decent flavor… the al pastor that came one it seemed more like chicken when I tasted a piece on its own. The tray the food came on was pretty gross. The red salsa was good the green one seemed very watery

The food is good, but it’s not worth the price. I paid $21.84 for 4 little street tacos.

I’ve been buying food from them for 4 years now. The last few times have been a bit of a miss. Tonight though! I’m beyond pissed. First of all I went there craving a chicken super burrito and was charged that price. Just to open the bag and get the wrong order. I live right around the corner so about 5 minutes. We go back and tell them. And what happens? They make what was supposed to be a chicken super burrito, The size was definitely not what it used to be. So I bite into it and ask I could taste was rice and pico. So I unroll the burrito and to my surprise theres little to no chicken in my burrito and the little that was in it was diced smaller then the chunks of tomato in it. I mean the chicken pieces where the size of a petite diced tomato. And there was only about a tablespoon of chicken in it. The super burrito comes with your choice of meat, Then beans, rice, pico, avocado and sour cream. So I got a burrito that had nothing but pico, rice and little chicken. So we go back again. And she says that she ran out of chicken that’s why it was like that. Now ma’am. If that was the case and your willing to cook more chicken and it take 10 minutes, Why not say that the first time instead of ripping me off. 3x in less then 40 minutes is crazy to me. Not once offered a refund or anything. Just wait 10 more minutes and they will make it again for the 3rd time. I’m very disappointed because I’ve been eating there for 4 years. Just got the 3rd burrito. Hopefully this is legit. I’m looking now….11:58
Update: It’s 12:03am AND IT’S WRONG AGAIN! NO BEANS AND VERY LITTLE MEAT. I’M ABOUT TO BLOW A GASKET

UPDATE: NO ONE HAS REACHED OUT TO ME AT ALL REGARDING THIS SITUATION. WENT BACK AT AN EARLIER TIME JUST TO GIVE THEM A PASS…. NOPE SAME THING. I don’t know what happened but it’s just not the same anymore. Very disappointed.

I literally just left. First off their prices are ridiculous and are not worth the portions or the food. Then I ordered Burris tacos with cheese sour cream and cilantro and onions. Then when picking up my food I ask for radish and onions. Guy tells me yes the have them. So I get home and unwrap my food only to find no cheese or sour cream on tacos and cucumbers and lime but no radish and onions. The food is nasty also and meat is super dry. Never again will I give these people my money. Wish I could rate 0 stars. I will keep going to Arizona Taco King on camelback because they have excellent service a great prices and always get my order correct

Best tacos in the west Valley. The carne asada and al pastor are on point! Pretty quick service too. The salsas are good too! Just be sure to check your bag because they sometimes forget a thing or two. Nevertheless, highly recommend 10/10!!

Too pricey for the quality. Quality went down. I don’t know if they got a new owner or what but this place is not what it used to be. It’s heartbreaking. This place used to have the best horchata and best meat quality. The horchata now is so watery and taste like left over. The meat is not tender or juicy at all and no flavor. The meat doesn’t get charred like it always was. I had to add salt to my food. And I don’t know why but they had lemons instead of limes. They use to always have limes.

Good food great price, it’s a street taco stand so not a lot of seating, but you can take your food to go, all in all good experience.
