I called this place ahead of time to ask when the kitchen closes, and the lady answered “when I run out of food, and I don’t know when that is”. I said ok I’m sorry but most places have a set time that the kitchen closes. I asked what the special was, and she said pork ribs and potatoes buffet for $6. I told her thanks. My son, and I drove 30 minutes to get there. When we walked in I asked about the buffet so she points towards a very dark area where the food was. It seemed sketchy, so I grabbed a little bit to try while my son did the same. The food turned out to be really good. I went to go ahead and get a real plate when I had some grouchy old man come running up to me telling me I needed to pay $6 if I wanted another plate. I told him I was told it was a buffet, and he said it’s a buffet style dinner then asked if I felt like I had $6 worth and I said no because I didn’t think it was per plate since that was never brought up. I once again said I was told it was a buffet to which he replied there’s no sign saying all you can eat. I told him there’s no sign saying per plate. The service was horrible, and make sure you ask questions in a very detailed manner because they don’t understand you. Also, it’s a no liquor club which is another reason I probably won’t go back. Good luck with this place.
