Emery is a polished-casual restaurant located in the heart of Mariemont. The seasonal menu features American cuisine, seafood, steaks, and a selection of delicious gluten-free and vegetarian dishes. Patio dining is available, and we have some great spaces for special gatherings. Happy hour drink specials are available Tuesday-Friday from 4-6pm. Not only is the atmosphere beautiful but the food was incredible! My friend and I are both gluten free and everything besides 3 dishes on the menu are gluten free or can be made gluten free. The elderberry pear cocktail was so refreshing. The whipped feta, lobster shrimp Alfredo, and chicken entree were delicious! The donut holes with homemade caramel sauce were amazing too! Zoie was so helpful and knew the menu very well. Overall outstanding experience!

Unfortunately my husband and I had a very disappointing experience. It was the first date night we’d had in months and we were really looking forward to it. We’ve been to Tahona, Clyborne, and Toast and Berry and had great experiences at all three. So we were hopeful to have another great time. However, immediately after being seated we were met with our first issue. The restaurant was super cold! My husband and I were shivering through our whole meal. We weren’t by a door or window, we were upstairs so no idea why it was so cold. But it really ruined the atmosphere. Our server was wonderful and prompt, however we were not told or warned that refills on Ginger Ale were not free, so that was an unpleasant surprise when the bill came. But our biggest issue was our food. I got the shrimp and lobster Alfredo, the shrimp and lobster was way overcooked. Super rubbery and inedible. The sauce was extremely bland and overall the dish was just not enjoyable. My husband had the crab BLT, which was cold. Not sure if that was intentional, if so it’d be good to note it on the menu. We skipped dessert because we figured it would be a letdown too. Overall we spent $130 to be cold and eat mediocre, poorly made food.

Took students to The Emery to see Diary of a Wimpy Kid musical. The students were amazed and they enjoyed it. I also had a great time as an adult.. The show was wonderful and I would definitely go again! VERY GREAT JOB to the cast!!!

The fries were cold, the burger was supposed to be medium well and it was closer to rare. It was tasty but not cooked properly. For the prices I would have thought it would have been way better. It was also very loud in the upstairs dining room area. The house salad was the only thing worthwhile. There was also a bay leaf on our fish sandwich. They did offer to take that off the bill.

Me in the wife decided to have our Tuesday date night here and it was spectacular. We had the calamari and crab cake for appetizers, then the lobster and shrimp crab roll & crab encrusted walleye for mains. The plates were practically licked clean that’s how good it was. There is an extensive spirt and cocktail menu, and I was able to finally find a place that had mint out of season, so they made me a mint julep. Wife had a Tahona which is made with cucumber ginger syrup, lemon, lime juice and she switched the tequila for mezcal. Tastes like you’re on the beach but also a dive bar in Scotland. Smokey flavor like a scotch. Leah was an excellent server and I appreciate her taking care of us.

The wife and I enjoyed our first visit to Emery. The interior decor is swanky, but not too formal (love the chairs!). The atmosphere is lively but not too loud for conversation. The staff was quite warm and welcoming, and also thanked us for coming upon exit. The draft beer selection was small but high quality. Our dinners were excellent. Don’t miss those donut holes for dessert!

Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner with our son and daughter-in-law! The entrees we chose were superbly cooked and presented. The chicken, salmon, trout, clam chowder, and hamburger were full of flavor and perfect portion sized. The cocktails were expertly crafted with some in-house flavoring syrups, we were told. Carla was the perfect server, friendly and attentive. Definitely plan to return to this gem!

This place was amazing. I love the ambiance and decor, but even better the food options! So many GF and they really want to make sure that they take care of you for any allergy concerns. The server knew what he was doing for sure. The food was perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the wine was excellent. Highly recommend and I will return to try the fish!
Edit: went back for the walleye fish and it didn’t disappoint. We also ordered the best donut holes I have ever had. The sauces were really really good. Service was great and still dedicating their time to ensure they cover all allergy needs.

The service was amazing and the food was great. Loved the whipped ricotta and the braised short ribs. The whitefish was delicious as well. Outside seating was nice so we could people watch.
