Very fair prices for very legit Thai food. Walk up window or they will take your order at your table if you are eating there. Small parking lot in back! And plenty of street parking. The egg rolls were crispy, not over cooked or oily. Good flavor and size. The cashew nut dish was full of flavor, chicken had great texture and veggies were still slightly crispy. The Eggplant dish is the same. Vegetables not soft, Eggplant was still eggplanty, not cooked to being soft and having the meat separated from the skin.
Very cute place. Effort was put in for the decor. Staff is busy, busy, busy. Lots of to go and delivery orders pumping through this place. Not a bring folks to impress type of place, but for a good meal at a very fair place, this checks all the boxes.

Hole in the wall restaurant in Melrose. Paking in rear of restaurant. Best Thai restaurant in Los Angeles. I’m happy to find this restaurant. Thanks Eater. Service is fast, friendly staff, very good dishes and they have free parking. No need to go to Thai town. Must visit if craving Thai food.

This used to be one of my favorite go-to restaurants, so I decided to revisit after quite some time. The food is still decent and reasonably priced, which I appreciated.
However, a few things were disappointing this time around. The Thai chili sauce that used to be readily available on every table was missing, and I had to ask the waitress to bring it separately. Not a huge issue, but a noticeable change.
What really let me down was the quality of the papaya salad, which is my favorite dish. The green papaya wasn’t properly shredded and came in large, chunky pieces, which made it hard to enjoy.
The biggest issue, though, was with the takeout service. I had some yellow curry left over and asked to have it packed to go. To my surprise, they put the hot curry directly into a plastic bag. As someone who is aware of the health risks of putting hot food in plastic (like the release of harmful chemicals), I found this very off-putting. I asked if they could use a takeout container instead, but they told me they didn’t have any.
That was hard to believe, especially since I remember always getting proper takeout boxes here in the past.
Even if it means charging a small fee, providing proper containers would be a much better approach. Unfortunately, despite the good flavors, the overall experience and lack of basic service make me hesitant to return.

This is not the restaurant I’ve been going to for almost 10 years. Ownership changed quietly recently and the food is not the same as it was, it’s worse. ALL of the 5 star reviews on this restaurant are from before the ownership change (look at the dates). On top of that, the AC was on when it was already 60 outside. It was so cold in there that my tea and food went cold while I was in the middle of eating. I told the servers multiple times how cold I was and they just smiled and that they were aware… I’m not sure why they’d buy a restaurant and change everything about it, but that’s what’s happened. I’ve been multiple times now, to give the new people multiple chances. I used to go here multiple times a month. I will no longer be going here.

If I could give zero stars I would! I’ve been a customer here for years but ownership changed and the service is terrible. Ordered the tom yum and it was EXTREMELY salty and when I kindly let the waitress know, she got upset and didn’t offer a solution to ensure I would enjoy my meal. I asked for lemons and Thai iced tea with light ice and to my surprise when the bill came I was getting charged for the lemons and $4 extra dollars in addition to the Thai iced tea price because I asked for light ice. I don’t think this is a way to do business and the waitress could’ve at least communicated that it was going to be extra to give me the option instead of being sneaky. This thai restaurant was introduced to my family and I by a Thai coworker over 10 years ago but now that it’s under new ownership I don’t think it will survive with the dishonest business practices. They just lost a whole ton of customers (me, my family, friends) forever. Now when I drive by the restaurant there’s hardly anyone inside dining, I wonder why! Make sure you check your bill before paying because there’s a chance they will overcharge you.

All around 5 star experience. Side note, I arrived just as they had opened so I don’t know what it’s like when the place is in full swing and filled with customers.
This is a cozy little place next to a laundromat. There are two entrances, the main one on Melrose and the other in the back where the parking lot is.
Takeout: I placed my order for takeout. Everything was packed wonderfully. Nothing spilled.
Food: The meatball soup was so soothing and delicious. The pad see ew *chef’s kiss*
Parking: There is a small parking lot that is shared with the laundromat.

I had been here many times, today Im in the area for work and I couldn’t resist to come again. The place itself is quite big , many tables and has some Thai decorations , workers are very friendly, the help u in any possible way. Service is very fast . Personaly I love eggplant with basil so I decided to have it again with ground pork. Is so delicious and melts like chocolate. I highly recommend this dish to anyone who hasn’t tried eggplant before. Or at least if anyone feels like trying something new. Portion is very decent and price is very reasonable. High recomend this restaurant when craving some Thai food .

Unpretentious legit Thai food. Straight up GOOD! Location and parking (street and back lot) are somewhat inconvenient but worth the unapologetic modest and delicious Thai fare!
A MUST order: gang pah – clear and super flavorful broth curry with bamboo, eggplant, and chili.
Fair prices: $$ out of $$$$

If you’re Thai and have been dying to eat the dishes you’ve been missing from home, they got it all here! From Yen Ta Fo to Rad Na Mhee Krob. And the best part is, they all taste pretty authentic! The staff were so friendly here and the food came out fast! Great price and value. I highly recommend this place!
