This is the second time it happened. The issue is with the coffee and service.
I am a coffee enthusiast and I have been drinking coffee at this location every time I visit. This couple of times I have seen new folks in the counter. The last time the coffee was cold (it was winter). I informed the clerk. He put my coffee in the froth machine and made it hot. Thats was okay. This time the coffee seemed stale— i could tell from the smell that the coffee was not fresh. I had asked if the coffee was fresh. He had said yes. I had tipped the guy too. I told him that the coffee wasn’t fresh. He asked me, how? I told him that the smell was not fresh. He kind of mocked me saying he would try to remember the smell. Then he just took it ans may be added some hot water or something, coz when i added creamer (they didn’t even have creamer on the counter) the coffee became thin, white and tasteless. Disgusted!

I purchased a Christmas cake and a birthday cake online for pickup. The service was great when I went for pick up and also bought a slice of opera cake for the car ride. Got home to discover that they gave me the wrong Christmas cake! I called and talked to the “manager” who tried to make me feel it wasn’t a big deal and I only had to drive 30 minutes there and back again to exchange the cake on Christmas eve as if I didn’t have other stuff going on. The owner got involved and told me keep the cake in question and gave me the correct cake. The two cakes that I ordered were delicious and a big hit with everyone! However, that third cake that was given to us by the owner tasted like Play Doh and went in the trash! I would try it one more time.

I ordered my birthday cake online and picked it up here. I got the green tea strawberry cake and it was heavenly! Quality matcha and the cream was so smooth and not so sweet that it was overbearing. Definitely a place to treat yourself to quality cakes. I also love the variety of baked goods here.

This place looks quite nice. Sadly, i am Gluten-free yet, I was there with my girlfriend. She got the cheese Danish. These people seem to bake fresh goods. I even saw the Noah’s Flood Rainbow cake. Bought my favorite donut the king cream donut, and unfortunately had like 10% cream most of it was empty. I get this donut from the Chinatown location and it’s amazing. The Elkins park location is my local and I’m extremely disappointed about the quality. Really hoping someone reads this and fixes my donut to cream ratio lol

My mom heard about this place and really wanted to try the “Strawberry Soft Cream” cake for her birthday. So I did my research and to my surprise they offer rewards and it was easy to sign up, so I figured everything seems perfect and it truly was. They sent me a welcoming reward for signing up (that’s a plus) then I placed my order for my mother’s birthday cake those purchase points went towards my rewards but the cake was everything she could have asked for!!! The Strawberry Soft Cream cake was light and delicious not as heavy as most strawberry shortcake so if you’re looking for something light and yummy and not to heavy for health reasons most definitely try. Because everything was perfect for my mom I decided to come back 2 weeks later and get my daughter a birthday cake from there she loves coffee and chocolate so no doubt I purchased her the Mocha cake and once again it was everything my daughter could expect. I’ll be back for Thanksgiving dessert, can’t wait to see which cake I choose for that occasion . Thanks for everything Paris Baguette.
