Why go to Starbucks when I can buy local? I dropped in for a nonfat latte today. It was delicious, and the baked goodies all looked fantastic. The friendly employee gave my toddler a fun sticker, too. I’ve come here before and LOVE their lemon cupcakes. The flavors are delicious, coffee’s yummy, and the presentation is top notch. They also have lots of comfy seating in their lounge area. I take anyone who visits me here for a coffe or treat. I’d recommend Linnybird’s to anyone needing a sugar or caffeine fix and a relaxing spot to chat.

Linnybird is my new go-to for special occasion cakes and desserts! We recently moved to the area and are so lucky to have found them. Our first purchase from them was a cake for my nieces 18th birthday and they did not disappoint! Everybody commented on how perfect it was, inside and out — definitely recommend!

Lets start at the beginning. For my daughter’s wedding we need 5 sheet cakes. My daughter’s grandma is a beautiful oil painter and we got some of her artwork printed as an edible image.
It was important for the cake to be delicious and beautiful.
We taste test the follow bakeries:
The London Baker
Linnybird Bakery
Mike’s Bakery
Market street store bakery
Blue Bonnet Bakery
We had the bride, groom, Mother of the Bride (ME) and several others blindly taste the cakes. All the cakes were good but the stand out winner was Linnybird bakery. The cake was flavorful, moist and the clear winner.
Now onto getting the images placed on the 9 X 13 cakes. We wanted to have a frame like border around the images. As we were talking about how to do that with Becky and Matt and they were so accommodating listening to us non bakers and really willing to do anything to get our vision of what we wanted to be a reality. We picked up 5 beautiful cakes that when shown to Grandma made her cry (again). I am beyond please with the taste, the look and the great customer service given to us by Linnybird. I highly recommend them for all your baked goods needs. You really can’t go wrong in choosing them for your event or just your sugar cravings. Here are some pictures of the final product.

Linnybird Bakeshop is such a treat! The baked items are all fresh and incredibly tasty. The staff is always helpful and glad to be there. The new coffee bar is well set up and comfortable with free wifi. A cozy place to enjoy your coffee and cupcake.

I’d seen a posting about their pies and they were offering preorders for Thanksgiving. I ordered a French silk. Today I went to pickup and as I was looking at the display case I noticed they had Buckeye cheesecake and actual Buckeye candies (peanut butter ball dipped in chocolate). Come to find out the two behind the counter are Ohio natives. So I had to get a Buckeye to support! I also ordered key lime pie slice and a s’mores stuffy. The service is top notch as well! I needed a knife to cut up the stuffy into manageable bits and the gentleman behind the counter brought an actual kitchen knife to assist. Cannot wait to go back and try more of their items and speciality coffees!

Linny Bird AND its employees are the absolute best! We purchased several pies for our Employee Thanksgiving luncheon today and they were incredible! The staff were super helpful and kind! 10/10 recommend this bakery and it’s wonderful staff!

I cannot recommend this place enough. I used Linnybird for my wedding cake and it was absolutely perfect! the cake was flavorful and moist, the filling was incredibly delicious, and the staff were just as sweet as the cake! Becky was the person I spoke with during the whole process, she took the time to make sure my husband and I got exactly what we wanted. She made special accommodations for some family members with allergies and she made everything so easy and smooth with zero stress on our wedding day. I will definitely be coming back for their incredible rotating flavors and wonderful customer service!!

I have been going to LinnyBird for several years & even with the newer owners they have kept the same menu plus always adding even more yummy treats!
No matter what time of the day it is, their staff is always happy to be there / happy to help you and it shows. I drove 40 mins down to them today to get my son some birthday cupcakes and I’m so glad that I did 🙂

I’ve been coming to Linnybird on and off for a few years now, and I’ve always appreciated the quality of their desserts and drinks. They’ve built a reputation for good offerings, and that’s kept me coming back.
That said, my last few visits have been a bit inconsistent. The coffee drinks have felt oddly proportioned, with the balance of sweetness, dairy, and espresso not quite lining up the way they used to. On our most recent visit, we ordered scones that were clearly undercooked. We brought it to the attention of the manager and barista, and they both acknowledged it right away. They replaced the order and even gave us free cupcakes, which was a very kind gesture. Unfortunately, the replacement scones were also undercooked, which may have just been a bad batch. It happens.
Despite that, the staff has always been kind, attentive, and accommodating, which goes a long way. We’ll absolutely give them another try in the future and hope things are more consistent next time.
