Cortado cafe was born from a vision to serve the best coffee in the most inviting place. Cortado in Spanish means “ to cut” or “ cut in half”; it comes from Spain where the origins of “kahwa” or coffee, had traveled all the way from the Arabian peninsula. Our desire is that at Cortado cafe, you will come to find equal parts, great coffee and a great community. We want to offer a unique coffee house environment unlike any other in Alexandria. We look forward to seeing you at Cortado Cafe – a place where you can savor the coffee and appreciate the community.

Incredible Brunch! Cortado Café & Crepery is a must-visit! The omelet was packed with fresh ingredients and served with the best seasoned potatoes and the chicken sausage I chose. Their chicken panini was perfectly pressed and crispy, and the chocolate-drizzled waffle was the ultimate sweet finish.
The coffee was great, specifically the Dulce de Leche latte and the smoothies were so refreshing. Beautiful, clean atmosphere and everything was fresh and delicious. I highly recommend this place!

I have visited this place five times, and it has never disappointed. The food is healthy, well-portioned, and beautifully presented. Their coffee is excellent, and the Cortado Havana coffee is my favorite for its rich flavor and balanced sweetness. The restaurant itself is small but well organized and very clean. Customer service is outstanding—every staff member I’ve encountered has been friendly, polite, and helpful.

We had an amazing breakfast at Cortado Cafe. The most surprising thing is that it is all Halal meat!! Normally we seek out halal, but this time we just picked somewhere close to the metro station, Alhamdulillah. My wife got eggs and cheese breakfast sandwich on a croissant and I got the breakfast platter with halal turkey bacon and chicken sausage along with potatoes, eggs, and toast. I also got a regular latte and it was great. Everything was absolutely delicious, I would highly recommend this place.

I found this when searching for chai latte on google reviews. It’s not easy to find a place with good chai tea! It was well balanced with a good spice level. Also tried the Norwegian Crepe which was delic! The crepe was the perfect texture, eggy and had the right amount of chew. The filling was very uniform and perfectly balanced with the crepe. The salad on top was also a perfect compliment. So happy to have found this new place! Lots of people were there on a weekday morning having breakfast and working.
Accessibility: Shopping center is handicap accessible though the cafe door itself is not. The tables are a good height for wheelchairs.
Dietary Restrictions: Lots of food and drink options, but not sure if people with dietary restrictions beyond type of proteins they eat will find what they need. However, the staff is friendly and they seem accommodating if you have questions and need some customization.
Would I go back? Yes, frequently. Due to good value and taste!

The iced latte was really good and I wish I had enough of an appetite to try their crepes because they also looked delicious! It was a nice place to get work done with plenty of seats and outlets. I will come back for the butter chicken crepe!!

This is a great place to not just eat, but also to get work done , with good coffee ☕ and an overall welcoming vibe. The staff are great, and the owner is incredibly friendly! I’ve been amazed by everything on the menu so far—from the savory crepes (especially the Bahn Mi Chicken Crepe ), to the rich Marquez Sandwich with Lamb , and the perfect Eggs Benedict with Smoked Salmon . Don’t forget to grab one of their good pastries on your way out! Highly recommend for breakfast, lunch, or a coffee break.

This cafe was clean, cute, and bright. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. When I asked for steak on my salad I love how the cashier went to verify with the chef and the chef gave me the honest recommendation that the steak wouldn’t be as good as the chicken due to the type they had. The avocado salad was phenomenal and full of flavor and the cappuccino was beautiful and delicious. I will definitely be back.

Where do I start? The food was amazing for the price and portions everything was fresh and a variety breakfast foods from classic breakfast sandwiches to unique never seen items. I would describe it as you we’re was eating in a Michelin star restaurant this isnt or ordinary starbucks. All drinks are amazing from a range of old brews, hot and old coffees and milkshakes. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! All plates are very filling fasho underestimated my stomach on this one .

I woke up this morning craving a Chai Latte (I’m easy), but not Starbucks. So my short adventure through town lead me here to Cortado’s.
I got my Chai, which was delicious, and a Norwegian crepe. I can eat smoked salmon and cream cheese anytime of the day. As I said, simple tastes for me.
The establishment is well lit, with a relaxed cafe vibe. There was friendly banter and conversations going on, but none were loud. A very inviting establishment.
I think I found my new go to coffee shop.
The next time I come I’ll get the Shakshuka. Sounds like an interesting mix of flavors and textures.
