We tried a variety of dishes including different biryanis and curries, and everything was absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich, well-balanced, and freshly made with care. The hospitality was excellent, and a special mention to Ashique and Yasin for their outstanding service — they were friendly, attentive, and made our experience even more enjoyable. Avocado bhel is too flavorful. Overall, a fantastic dining experience, and we’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!
We were visiting Branson, MO so we first tried calling the restaurant, but the phone lines weren’t working, so we placed our order online for a 9:45–9:50 pm pickup. We ordered roti, onion kulcha, and naan , aloo gobi. Dal tadka and lentil soup. Without any call or confirmation, the restaurant removed the roti and kulcha from the order and replaced them with butter naan and garlic naan. We were only notified through an email message. When I went inside to ask about the change, the staff simply said “sorry, we replaced it,” without explaining why no one reached out before making substitutions.
We were also told that someone would “come out” to the car or wave, when the food was ready, but by 9:55 pm, no one had called out to us. When we went inside, the food was already sitting on the counter, . By the time we got back to the hotel, we were shocked by the portion sizes. We ordered two curries (aloo gobi and dal), both priced at $16, and the quantity was far too little for the price. The naan was burnt and completely inedible. The aloo in the aloo gobi was half-cooked, and the skin hadn’t been peeled. There were only two cauliflower florets in the entire dish, and the curry itself was very watery. It didn’t taste like aloo gobi at all. The dal tadka was similarly disappointing, it was so thin and liquidy that it wouldn’t even mix well with the rice. The flavor just wasn’t there. The dal soup we ordered for $8 was also an extremely small portion. The value for money was simply not there. We ended up having to drive to Taco Bell because we were still hungry, which really shouldn’t happen after spending this much on a meal. I am very small eater and the portion size wasn’t even enough for me. I genuinely do not understand how this restaurant has received so many positive reviews. The portion sizes were disappointing, the substitutions were made without communication, and the service was poor even for a simple pickup order. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this place. I’ve attached photos so others can see the portion sizes for themselves.
But we were highly disappointed. Chicken was well cooked but no masala, no flavour in chicken. We also ordered hakka noodles for baby, but they were not properly cooked. When I placed ordered in restaurant it was full. Very limited seating place.
I wouldn’t recommend their biryani. Also salan comes with it was not at all good. Its was little tangy with white grinned groundnut.
Their chicken with egg fried rice was absolutely delicious — full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The service, the vibe, and the food quality were all exceptional.
This place is truly a hidden gem in Branson and a must-visit for anyone who loves good Indian food.
