We stopped at Mi Ranchito Mexican Food after hiking Stony Man Mountain and checking out some new homes in the area, and we’re so glad we did! The food truck is set up in a parking lot alongside another truck, and the lady running it was warm and friendly.
The food was fantastic, we tried the beef, chicken, and pork carnitas, and each one was perfectly prepared with generous portions. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful.
Another pleasant surprise was the very clean portalet, which we truly appreciated after a long day of exploring.
Overall, this was a 5-star experience ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ with delicious food, friendly service, and thoughtful touches. We’ll definitely be back!

Great food and super nice woman that runs this food truck. I stop here and get tacos every time I buy hay at AJ Pullens…which is about 1 every month. Something I always look forward to is grabbing a few tacos from here.

Best authentic Mexican food in the area. It has become a regular weekly stop for me. The chicken flautas meal is so delicious I haven’t been able to try anything else. It has been consistently the same each and every time I’ve had it. Great, friendly, welcoming service by everyone. Do yourself a favor and stop by for a delicious meal!

We’ve eaten here twice now, both times the food has been excellent and fast. Service is friendly and helpful. It’s mostly take out, but they do have 2 nice picnic tables with umbrellas. Also, their horchata might be the best we’ve ever had.

Absolutely our new favorite taco cart! The food was outstanding with amazing red and green sauce with just a bit of a spicy kick.

The street corn on the cob was delicious, the chips and guacamole was the best I’ve ever had and the Asada tacos were good just needed some salsa. Rice was alittle bland but everything else made up for it.

In love w/this truck. They offer the standard tacos, quesadillas, nachos, but they have things that stand out like horchata, elote and their tortillas. Spent well over $50 trying almost all the unique things on their menu. Their rice is banging, the corn is delicious. Will hopefully be back soon.
Update: returned after trying a taqueria down the street for a different supper. These prices are better, the selection is still pretty good vs them. And the lady working it is sweeter than candy. I think this is my new taco cart.
Update 2: Still outstanding, found out she does a brewery on some nights, worth the trip if she’s not on the corner. If you come right when they open, be patient as the sides & such might be on the cooler side & need time to warm through.

They had pork tamales today. Fantastic. An excellent place to grab some great Mexican food. Can’t wait to work my way down the menu. Atmosphere is great for a food truck and they make it a bit classy with the tables lights and plants. Makes up for the Rixeyville Road noise.

Outdoor picnic tables, chilly yet sunny outside, why not have tacos in the fresh air. I just saw this place on the side of the road, on 522, outside of Cutalpa (Near Culpepper, VA)
Freshly made tacos, authentic and delicious. What a great stop. The pork tacos had a bit of mango with ciliantro and sweet onions. Chicken tacos as well, no mango, and also delicious.
