If I could put a zero for customer service I would. Held on the phone for 30 mins plus. Arrived at the store still on the phone. The manager flippantly said “Sorry well we were slammed” with an attitude the size of the world. There was not a sorry in her tone and attitude. If there were anywhere else, I would go there. A simple sincere apology would have worked. Disgusted.

I need to update my D’Angelo Grilled Sandwiches review.
I recently went to D’Angelo and asked the employee if they season their sandwiches. Apparently, D’Angelo doesn’t add seasoning to certain sandwiches. That’s why the steak and cheese sandwich that I mentioned in my previous review was so bland. I was told by the employee that you need to request seasoning when ordering a sandwich and be specific about what seasoning to add to your sandwich order. So I did and the steak and cheese sandwich that I ordered today was so much better. I really wanted to share with you what I discovered today because it’s important to share this positive experience, it is well deserved! Thank you D’Angelo Grilled Sandwiches in Auburn, Massachusetts for turning my negative experience into a a positive one!

I do love receiving discount coupons from D’Angelo! Most of the sandwiches are pretty good, but what happened to the steak and cheese sandwiches? Every one I buy is bland, no delicious taste and kind of dried out. D’Angelo needs to kick up the flavor!

Used to be my go to spot for a steak and cheese. I’d drive out of my way to stop here. Last 3 orders have been sub par. The last two specially, got the order wrong, and the steak tasted off.

It’s a sandwich shop. No atmosphere really. The servers were very friendly and efficient. The steak 9 and the Thanksgiving subs are very good.

I’ve never had my order made wrong, or any issues with the service. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and the ingredients are good and cooked to order.
I feel the building could use a bit of a refresh, it’s perfectly fine as is, but a fresh coat of paint would be good.

Hadn’t had a grilled pastrami from D’angelo’s in a while, so stopped in for a large, well done. It was excellent! Just as I remembered them being. Ate half and saved the other half fir the next day. Microwaved it, and it was great on day two also!

Dining area was clean, inviting and comfortable. However the service was deplorable. Placed order and waited a long time. One called we discovered a mistake as they gave another customer my sandwich and gave me his. I understand these things happen. Both parties arrived at the counter at the same time with wrong sandwiches. They were both open so we wanted new sandwiches. Although I was understanding the girl behind counter was quite rude. She told both parties that we took the wrong sandwiches. They were on our tray and when picked up they confirmed what sandwiches we ordered. They wanted us to just switch them…absolutely not as they were both opened and touched.
Finally eating once they made the correct sandwich however my partner was already finished with his sandwich. You could tell by the way it was made that they were upset…not good at all.
We could hear them talking about us complaining “they were both up here together and they never even said they were not together”….
No name tags so I do not know their names. Two females at around 1:45 in the afternoon.
To boot we made one meal a combo and they did not ring it up as such. When we left the poor “other customer” was still waiting for correct sandwich.
We are very disappointed customers!
