I usually do not write reviews, but this experience was unacceptable. I came in 2/25/26 at 5:20pm and waited in the drive thru at the box for about five minutes, until we decided to come inside because we assumed they were probably busy. While we are in line inside, there was arguing in the kitchen about whose fault it was on extra fish not being put down. The manager was being very disrespectful to the workers along with customers that were waiting for their food 30+ minutes. What made me walk out was the manager brought food over that was bagged to a customer and they questioned him if it was to-go or not since it was bagged. His response was “Yeah I know, but she just does not listen and does not do as she is told.” To be a manager (I assume him being in black) and to speak to and about your workers like that is very unprofessional and made multiple people leave. I have worked in many fast food environments and have NEVER been treated the way these workers were being treated from the manager. I hope there is some sort of correction, so customers and employees are not lost in the future.

When through the drive through tonight April 21st about 25 minutes before closing time & my food was not great. My fries were SUPER stale and dry. They were impossible to eat. The food was warm and not hot at all. I was so disappointed because I have usually had good experiences at this location. We spend about $40 dollars too for our food to not be good quality. We even waited patiently for about about 10 minutes for our food to be ready at the window. I understand you guys are getting ready to end the day but your customers still deserve to get served good food no matter what time it is while you guys are still open. Please do better. Food is ALWAYS stale and you will get about 5 fries total.

First off who doesn’t love the sweet tea and rolls omg yes!!!! That being said I stopped by on my way home it was around 6. I ordered a sweet tea and 2 rolls. I made it to the window pretty fast each car in front of me getting sent to park or pull up. I get handed my drink after about 5 mins she asks me to pull up. I’m thinking really for 2 rolls but I don’t argue I say alright and pull up next 2 cars get their drinks and have to park they then get their food brought out to them all the while 15 minutes in I’m still sitting here and by this time I’m like damn why am I still waiting by that time the girl comes to my window and asks me what my order was again. Not gonna lie I said 2 rolls that’s it and probably had a bit of irritation in my voice she said ok and went back inside and returned moments later with a small box I did thank her because my southern hospitality is deeply instilled from childhood but it was begrudgingly. When I got home I did have my 2 rolls but I guess as a sign of they knew they did me wrong they had also included 4 tenders and 2 extra rolls. So the food was great but the service definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. If you have plenty of time and don’t mind sitting there forever I definitely recommend because again the food is yummy

On 12/26 at 4pm the lady taking the order was clearly very unhappy and in a bad mood. The service and food matched her vibe. Messed our order up, didn’t get everything we ordered and some things were wrong. My girlfriend is spitting out her chicken as I type this. The last time we came here they messed our order up as well.. Horrible location. Save your money and go elsewhere. They charge way too much to get this quality of service and food… STAY AWAY.

Today was one of the worst meals I have ever gotten from Chicken E. 10-30-25. 2:PM Gizzards were way overcooked, Way overcooked. Never had chicken jerky before today. Dog took what I gave him and he hid it instead of eating it. This was quite a surprise to me as I ordered same 18 piece gizzard meal on Tuesday 10-28-25 around the same time of day and it was great. Best I ever had anywhere! I guess it is luck of the draw on which crew is working. I realize every company gets bad employees but this crew needs to be addressed.

We ordered (2) #1s. A #1 should have 5 tenders, 2 sides, and a roll/biscuit. You can get 2 sides and skip the drink or 1 drink and 1 side. We always opt for the 2 sides as we drink water instead.

Orders missing items completely. The first order had 3 tenders so it was missing a tender. BOTH orders completely missing the rolls/biscuit.

The tenders were really fresh. They were so fresh, we couldn’t eat them for like 10 mins. However, we did ask for fresh so they did serve us hot tenders. But the double order of fries was cold and were hard so felt and tasted like they had been setting out for a hot min. The gravy was good and seemed fresh. That’s being said, the edible parts for my order, a #1, was 3 tenders and gravy seeing I couldn’t even eat my roll/biscuit and the fries were inedible. The only thing positive I have to say was the tenders were hot.

The environment didn’t feel very welcoming. Maybe just my opinion or vibe. We’ve ate at this location and the one closer to Target. This one is a newer building but the service seemed much worse. I would recommend the other location which isn’t all that far from this one.

The food is good. The dining room is clean. It is ALWAYS TOO COLD IN THE DINING ROOM. Night manager is nice but extremely LOUD. Three of the crew were eating in the kitchen as they were walking around. We like eating here and do so often. Please correct these issues.

We just, ordered a 12 piece liver and 2 peppers told it would take 10 to 15 minutes to cook, we paid $14 and some change but was not given a reception. We were then asked to pull forward and someone would bring out, we waited our order was supposed to be ready at 833, we went back at 840 and would told it would be 10 minutes more because they accidentally gave our order to someone else. But they were really sorry. We requested a refund
