Best Filipino food we’ve ever had in Washington State (and we live in Seattle). Way too good, had to order more after I finished eating so that I could have more food to-go to eat at home.

I would say average Filipino food (I had the pork adobo; pancit; and [unfortunately] raw deep-fried lumpia… They remade them but I had lost my appetite after that!!

Hit this place up today. Food was great for the most part. Sisig could’ve been better. It was almost as if I was eating carne asada. Service was good but the Halo Halo took an extra 25 min for them to make.
One suggestion I have is to make a more full menu available for customers ordering over the phone.

If you’re craving legit Filipino food, Paraiso Filipino Resto is worth the trip. I had the sizzling sisig, halo-halo, and a couple of combo meals, and honestly, I left happy and full. The sisig came out still sizzling (and tasting amazing), just the way it should be. The halo-halo reminded me of the ones back home — traditional, not overdone, and really good. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and the flavors hit the spot.
On top of that, the owner was so much fun to talk to — super friendly with great customer service. You really feel welcome here. Highly recommend if you want that authentic Filipino taste without hopping on a plane going to Cali.

This was my first time coming in and it felt like a nice cozy place to sit down and eat. I ordered the meal with 3 of their entrees. I ordered the Pinakbet, Kare Kare, and the Laing. I also got a side order of the BBQ pork Skewer. Out of all the food I tried my favorite was the BBQ pork skewer. The Pinakbet was just as good any Pinakbet. It was the first time of trying Laing so I don’t have a big opinion of it. It was good though just not my cup of tea. The Kare Kare was where I was disappointed and gave the reduction in stars. While the flavor was delicious the consistency was a bit too watery for me. I’m used to and prefer a slightly more thicker consistency to get that full peanut butter experience. Overall I do recommend this place to people to try out. They have a better selection of food than the other restaurants I’ve been to here in Tacoma.

This place was awesome! I assume it was the owner that gave us samples because my wife has never tried Filipino food and the food was DELICIOUS . My wife loved the food. The beef stew meat was heavenly and the cici and chicken adobo were pantastic. It’s Pinoy hebben.

Found out they sell made by order crispy pork belly im addicted and the filipino food will put you to sleep. Being a chef myself. feels good to go to a spot that has authentic food that you know is made from the heart. They sell out food fast. So make sure you get there early if you want something specific. This restaurant does except phone orders

This place is LIKE THAT ok. Half restaurant half grocery store. I grew up with Filipino neighbors and played with their sons so I ate a lot of Filipino food. A lot. This place makes me feel like a kid again. The beef and chicken lumpia are my favs. Sometimes I just go to get that. Actually majority of the time I go just to get an order of each and they usually don’t make it home. The chicken adobo is different than what I’m use to but it’s still delicious and i get it quite often. The beef kare kare is my favorite dish that’s not lumpia. They give samples so ask for samples to help you decide what you want! The place is always busy. A lot of Military show up around lunch time. Be prepared to wait in line. There are usually no tables when you walk in but by the time you make it through the line a table will open up. Place is clean and everyone so far has been very friendly. The grocery part next door has a lot of things you can’t get at a regular grocery store. Again this place takes me back to my childhood! If you aren’t busy and want a good meal I say give this place a go!
