I moved four years ago from the South Hills of Pittsburgh, where there are outstanding pizza options like Fiori’s, Beto’s, and Mineo’s. Since moving to the Cranberry–Wexford area—where most options are chain pizza—I tried Slice on Broadway based on my past positive experiences at their Beechview location.
Unfortunately, my first visit was disappointing. I decided to give them another chance four months later, and the experience was even worse.
At 7:00 p.m., I waited 30 minutes for a carryout order of four slices and garlic knots. When I arrived, I saw slices sitting out that looked like leftovers from lunch. I was handed 2 boxes, which one of them contained the 4 slices which couldn’t be true. Of course it was true and do you think those slices could at least had some cheese added to them?? Nah, why try to make the pizza look fresh.
Service was poor. The person assisting me acted as if my order and pickup were an inconvenience. While service alone wouldn’t stop me from returning, the food quality made the experience unacceptable.
I spent $38 and won’t be returning. At this point, I’d rather go to a chain than pay premium prices for subpar food. Awards don’t matter if the everyday product isn’t good. I truly miss South Hills pizza.

Pizza was too crisp…crust was too small to be NY style. The sausage was too spicy. The garlic knots were not cooked enough, were big & bulky and not thoroughly cooked. Sauce was okay.

The manager took care of me better than I could have ever expected. After dordash failed to pick up my order he brought it to me him self and compt it for us. As someone who works in the service industry this was going above and beyond. I was not even upset that it was taking so long or was asking for compensation he just did it. Excellent!. We will be Ordering again. Oh and the pizza was top notch. Best New York style pizza in the burgh.

Slice on Broadway in Wexford is awesome. The pizza is consistently great, and the Luca hoagie is wildly good — easily one of the best hoagies around. The guys who work there are super cool and genuinely friendly, which makes the place even better. I also love that they sell dough for my at-home pizza oven, and they’re always happy to offer tips to help you get it right. Great food, great people, and a great vibe. Highly recommend.

The pizza is great! The kids working here are also great! Super friendly. And I always order and pick up the pizza, so I haven’t actually experienced the atmosphere. But it’s usually pretty full when I run in. We also bought the pizza kit. Yum! I recommend their pizza. Next time we’ll have to try something else.

Tried three different pizzas. Every one of them was outstanding, some of the best I’ve ever had… And I’ve been around. The crust is evenly distributed, chewy, not too thick, and perfectly cooked. The sauce is spot on, with a punch of spice. The cheese blend includes Italian cheeses, which really make this pizza Outstanding. When you bite into it, the topping stay in place as they should instead of slide off the crust and slap you in the face. One slice was enough for lunch. The slices are huge like they should be. It’s exactly like street pizza in New York. I’ll be there At least once a week.
I know everybody’s taste in pizza is different, but if you like traditional, New York style pizza, where you fold the crust, And the flavor just explodes in your mouth, this is your place!

My family’s favorite Pizza Place. We traveled back from Virginia and Slice on Broadway had to be the first destination to eat! We all selected our specialty slices and fountain drink and was able to cash in my points for a free lunch and cheap luncheon!!!

Ordered pick up and less than 30 minutes it was ready and so delicious! My family is from New York and New Jersey and they said it was almost as good as the big city pizza! – they are tougher critics! So delicious. You should get it. So 5+++ stars for these pies!

We came up for an out-of-town visit. We were looking for a pizza place and came across Slice on Broadway. We ordered the Santino, the Fancy Pants, and a create your own. We had a small hiccup with our order, but the establishment quickly rectified the situation to our liking. The staff was great. Excellent Pizza and we would definitely return again.
