Came by this evening and had the privilege of being helped by Jonatian! He was running the show by himself during the dinner rush hour (the line did not slow down, constant while I was there).
I cannot begin to tell you how amazing he was!
✅ He made sure to greet all customers.
✅ Store was tidy!
✅ Food orders were accurate!
And did I mentioned he had to ring us up as well!!
I have not seen this kind of work ethic in a young adult in a very long time. It was refreshing!

I pass 2-3 subway locations just to come here. Best location in town hands down. All the employees are always great. Freddy is the man.
Edit 1/15/26…Ironically i have not seen Freddy here the last couple weeks. They only have one person working lunch time, lines are getting long and the waiting is ridiculous. One girl, making one sandwich at a time during lunch hours is crazy. I will start going some where else now. People don’t have time to just stand around and wait while you have your absolute slowest employee working solo.

This is the best Subway in Bakersfield hands down. Chris has the greatest customer service. He is always pleasant when we go in there and he knows us by our sandwiches which makes it even better. When this store is packed the teamwork of the staff is amazing. I go often and have not had a bad experience due to the great staff that ensure cleanliness and customer satisfaction.

Subway is fine. Problem with this spot is they staff 1 person at a time. Get in line behind a family of 4 and a trip that should take 5 minutes end up taking 30. This subway needs to staff this restaurant properly or close.

They arent carrying all the different drinks I love anymore and no more Caesar dressing! I’m sure it is due to having less business right now. The place was clean, food was fresh, and the staff was friendly.
