We stopped in for a late lunch. We had a roast beef au jus sandwich and a turkey sandwich. The fries were hot and delicious. The bread was fresh and easy to bite. Yummy sandwiches!! Excellent service and atmosphere. Nice wine selection too! We’ll be back with friends.

We had a fantastic night.

The dinning room is smaller and intimate (which is something we can appreciate) enough that I didn’t have to talk loudly in order to communicate over other guests or noise.

The food & drinks were top notch.

The cauliflower appetizer was unexpectedly wonderful. The pasta was fresh and excellent.
Waitress gave us a heads up some of the heavier pasta portions were smaller plates, but I got the beef ravioli and thought the portion was perfect.
Filling but it left room for dessert, which was also delicious.

We will certainly be back!
Spent plenty, because we were enjoying ourselves – but I didn’t feel anything was outrageously priced for the location.

The service & staff are so kind and you feel very welcomed. We did bring our 1 year old with us for dinner & they were able to accommodate with a high chair. We didn’t need any special food requests for him so unsure if they can make accommodates for little ones and to what extent.

The food is stunning! Locally sourced & made from scratch- can’t get any fresher than this. Everything we tried exceeded expectations. The drinks were also incredible. Don’t skip on the cocktails!

We can’t wait to go back and try their lunch menu. In all, highly recommend this place & snagging a reservation whenever possible- it’s definitely a unique spot in Aldie.

Nice modern looking restaurant, so spacious! We came for lunch. The menu consisted of sandwiches, salads and flatbreads. We came hangry so we went with the sandwiches.

*The Captain- my husband loved the sandwich.
*Purple Reighn- the eggplant was good. The bread though… I think would make any sandwich taste good. We loved the bread.
-Truffle fries- the fries were crispy but they were a little heavy handed with the truffle sauce.
*chocolate toffee dessert- so rich, was the perfect size

We would definitely return if we’re in the area. We would love to try their dinner menu. Service was attentive and helpful too.

As a chef, I always appreciate when a restaurant executes both flavor and experience at a high level, and Oak & Ember truly delivers. The food was exceptional—thoughtfully composed, beautifully presented, and executed with precision. Every dish showed a clear respect for ingredients and balance of flavor.

The service was polished and genuinely attentive without being intrusive, which elevated the entire experience. The décor and ambiance strike a perfect balance between warmth and sophistication, creating a space that feels both refined and inviting.

It’s always inspiring to see a restaurant operating at this level. A truly memorable dining experience, and I look forward to returning.

Clean environment. Good local beer poured (believed from cans) unclear if they have taps. More of a wine and spirit place. Simple menu with quality San whiches. Parking in back. Did have a couple TVs going with football in background.

Love this place! Don’t miss this little gem if you drive by. The bread is heavenly- airy and crispy, the ingredients are fresh, small menu with many flavors. The purple reign sandwich was recommended and it did not disappoint. The Caesar salad with the finely grated fresh Parmesan just complemented perfectly. We’ll be back for flat bread, home made pasta and to try their cocktails.

My wife and I booked reservations here for our date/birthday night. We love trying new establishments and this restaurant was high on our list ever since we learned about it. The food was outstanding – we ordered the garlic shrimp, a pasta dish, and the ribeye. Everything was outstanding. Our server, Sean, was fantastic – very personable and attentive. We asked him for his recommendations and his choices were spot on. The wine selection was paired nicely with the courses, and the dessert shouldn’t be skipped (we had the bread pudding, which we highly recommend!). Overall, this restaurant is a gem and we hope it stays for the long run! Looking forward to our next visit!
