So so good, full of flavor and spices that are mouthwatering. Temperature got ( which a lot of place are not). Friendly staff. Play four of delicious food. I’ve never been to Jamaica, but I have tasted it here. 100% authentic.

Walked up and greeted by cashier. Hadn’t had Jamaican food from a restaurant before just from someone I knew cooking it. So was a new experience. I got a small jerk chicken. So jerk chicken, rice and beans, cabbage and carrots. Chicken had good flavor but skin wasn’t crisp, looked fatty, so that part wasn’t for me. The chicken looked like it could’ve been done a little longer but it tasted fine and had the right texture overall. The rice and beans was awesome and the cabbage and carrots wasn’t bad – considering I’m not a huge fan of cabbage lol.
I’m willing to try other foods next time. I like oxtail and goat curry so I’m interested to see if I like this restaurant’s version. I also want to try to coco bread and mac and cheese.

This is the best Jamaican food in town! Please come and support Rose’s Jamaican Hub because this is real good food and they need our support to keep serving all this good food! I highly recommend the jerk chicken, oxtail, and chicken curry. If you have not had Jamaican food, first try the jerk or stew chicken as introduction to Jamaican flavors.

Most things I order from here is very good but this is the first for the Rasta pasta and there is no Rasta in this pasta. Regular degular Alfredo pasta. This was super disappointing but everything else is usually very good.

The chicken curry with the veg was delicious I’m not really big on veggies. Chicken curry patty was amazing. The Rasta pasta I guess they make it one way. I do like it with some kick to it, but it wasn’t bad at all. I’ll be back for sure. Thank you

I ordered the shrimp Alfredo and a jerk chicken plate. I was told it would take about 10-12 minutes since it was made to order for the alfredo. Almost an hour later we got our food. Alfredo with severly undercooked noodles and a plate full of sauce, shrimp were good. As my daughter says, The jerk wasn’t jerkin!! Cabbage lacked flavor…just cabbage. Definitely won’t try them again. Wasn’t worth the $40. And they were very stingy with the napkins!!! Smh. Lesson learned.

Stop here a decent bit when I’m passing through Gastonia. Tried the curry, jerk, and stew chicken lunch specials so far and it’s good stuff. $11 fill up and a drink..hard to beat and my stomach loves me for not getting fast food on the road.

Had the soy chunks meal with rice and peas, and cabbage. It was very, very good (maybe a little less salt would have made it perfect). And, the rice and peas were easily the best I’ve had at a restaurant in years. The chef definitely puts care and effort in the dishes. Will definitely be back.
