Incredible…! The pastries are almost too beautiful to eat. But, you should definitely eat them because they are fantastic. We got a number of baked goods and each one was better than the last. Favorite was the pistachio cream – fresh whipped cream with a subtle sweetness and a hint of nutty flavor. Yum. Espresso was ok – too sour for my taste. Super friendly staff are the icing on the cake! Hope to be back soon!!

Nouvé recently started selling breads and baguettes. And not just any baguettes, but excellent ones — golden, crisp, buttery on the outside with a perfectly soft center. One of the best I’ve tasted locally, and I’ve had my fair share around the area over the years. I’d love to see Nouvé at Le Grand Prix Elmendorf in Cambridge this summer. I have no doubt, they will go far!

This place is a croissant heaven with a unique Asian twist. Every pastry is executed to perfection, with a Japanese precision and dedication to the art of baking. These aren’t just pastries, they’re a statement, each one worthy of its own display. The selection is generous, ranging from classic croissant staples to more refined, creative options like matcha, cappuccino with cocoa nibs, and blood orange yuzu.

The bakery folks are the best, always greet you with a smile and cheer, 5 star team. My recommendation? Try them all! My favorite is a chocolate mousse danish, made with a silky smooth cream, crisp laminated pastry, and topped with delicate chocolate pearls. I’m not a big chocolate fan, but I never leave without picking up one, or two, whenever they’re available. That’s how good they are!

My regular Sunday stop and always worth it

Nouvé Bakery is such a gem! The cozy atmosphere and elegant display of croissants, viennoiseries, and pâtisseries make it the perfect spot for a slow morning or afternoon treat. I love that it’s Asian-French fusion — the creativity really shows through in every bite.

I tried a few specialty treats including the honey toast, egg custard tart, cinnamon roll, pain au chocolat, pain suisse, and their sweet-savory hot dog croissant — which was especially unique and delicious! Each item was beautifully made and perfectly balanced in flavor.

While the line moves quickly, definitely make sure to come early on the weekend, or be prepared to wait a bit. The shop also is very small, so you will have to wait outside until there is space.

Can’t wait to come back to try more!

I came across this bakery on Instagram and found it to be quite nice,so decided to check it out in Lexington. Their pastries are truely amazing. I liked their Ham and Cheese Croissant and it tasted quite tasty. The other croissant with custard filling inside was tasty too and so was the blueberry danish pastry. This is a takeout place only so there is no place to sit down and eat so its a grab and go place only. The vibes are quite nice and their coffees look good too. Overall highly recommend trying them out!

Stumbled upon this gem of a bakery on my lunch break. I lived in France for numerous years so I am incredibly picky about my croissants. So don’t take this lightly when I say that was the best croissant I have ever had in my life! Although a croissant is $5 it is well worth the price for the artistry of the lamination in the pastry and the delicious pastries they offer. I highly recommend the ham and cheese croissant and the apple tart!

Came all the way from downtown to Lexington with 1hr on train + bus for these – absolutely worth it! Croissant pastries are super flaky and you can see the layers. Custard fillings are not too sweet 😉 came in Sunday afternoon around ~1:30 pm and many flavors have sold out so definitely will be back earlier next time!

The honey toast here is amazing! Perfectly crisp on the outside, soft and fluffy inside, with just the right touch of sweetness from the honey. You can really taste the quality and freshness. Definitely one of the best bakery treats in town — highly recommend Nouvé Bakery!

We also ordered a big pack for our tennis team and everyone can’t resist the second one! Absolutely addictive to this charming and tasty honey toast!

I’ve been drooling over pics from this bakery’s instagram since they opened and finally made it there! It was everything & more. The pistachio filled pastry was my favorite! The last time I had something similar, I was in Italy and this was even better. My 10 year old rated the 3 pastries we tried : 8, 9, and 9.9 out of
10. That’s pretty damn good.

Nouve Bakery in Lexington is pure magic — a true treasure that somehow captures the heart of a French patisserie and the warmth of a small-town bakery all in one. Their pastries are next level — the best French pastries we’ve ever had, hands down. Every flaky layer, every perfect bite speaks to incredible skill, passion, and care.

The Front of House, led by the lovely Mel, makes the experience even more special. She’s so kind and welcoming — it’s the kind of genuine hospitality you rarely find. As a mom, it means everything to me. My son, who has severe autism and intellectual disabilities, feels completely welcome here — no judgment, just kindness and warmth. Nouve is truly a place where everyone feels at home.

It’s become a beloved tradition for us: every Sunday, we come for our favorite treats. My daughter’s absolute favorite is the raspberry passion fruit pastry — bright, beautiful, and bursting with flavor. I can’t resist the matcha pain suisse — it’s outrageously flaky, deeply flavorful, and completely addictive.

Nouve Bakery isn’t just a bakery — it’s a part of our family’s happiest memories. If you haven’t been, run — it will steal your heart (and your taste buds) in the best possible way.
