We found Rockingham NC to be dismal in restaurant choices and was quite surprised to find this little Indian and Nepali restaurant in the midst of nowhere. We arrived there after driving around looking for an elegant dining experience and found ZERO places. Then we looked up restaurants on Google and found two that seemed feasible for our tastes. One was an oriental or Thai restaurant that was closed even though Google indicated it was opened. Then out of hunger and desperation we stopped at an ugly and dirty looking Italian restaurant only to be turned away because we had a Service K9 with us. Thank God this happened, and we didn’t argue about the unlawfulness of denying service bcs of our K9 Service Animal. We willingly left that gross place and less than a mile down the road, Google directed us to this amazing and beautiful restaurant called Celebrtiy Indian Nepali cuisine. Their dining room was closed and they were only doing take out. We pleaded with them to allow us to eat our take out meals on their small patio and they obliged. Probably because we looked hungry enough to devour a few adults.
WE ordered Naan, both plain and garlic. Loved it. For appetizers, we ordered, lamb samos, vegetable samosa and Samosa Chaat. Very good and housemade. We loved it. Then for dinner there was lamb curry, chicken madras and it was yummilicious. For dessert, we had the classic Gulab Jamun….sweet and perfect to end a really wonderful experience.
Although, it was supposed to be take out, we ate in their patio area and received table service with a super friendly server named Joy. He was sweet and polite. Superb service. The dining room is super clean and pretty. The best part, was their drive up window which consisted of a long viewing window where we can observe the food being made in a very clean, scratch kitchen.
Great experience and best Indian Nepali food that we have experienced in our travels. A must stop and a diamond in the rough. We will be back!

I ordered takeout and had the vegetable korma (comes with rice) and garlic naan. It smelled so good and tasted delicious. Portions were very generous. I had more than enough food for two meals. I will be back soon!

This place is a diamond in the rough, better than most Indian places in bigger cities. We were passing through on a trip and dreaded more fast food. This place was awesome. The staff were friendly, the food was fast and delicious and they customized our dessert to be nut free. Highly recommend!

Absolutely fantastic! This place is a real gem in our town. The food is full of rich, authentic flavors and made fresh with care—you can really taste the difference. The portions are generous, and everything we tried was delicious the butter chicken / biryani / samosas. Chicken curry was especially amazing.
The staff are warm, welcoming, and go out of their way to make you feel at home. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, perfect for both a casual meal or a special night out. It’s rare to find this level of quality and hospitality in a small town, and I’m so glad we have it here.
Highly recommend to anyone craving truly great Indian food—you won’t be disappointed!

Such good food! Met here with friends and my husband thot the butter chicken was the best he had ever had. I loved all the spices in the dahl. The goat curry was also very good. The server offered to take some butter chicken out before they added the spices for our toddler. Thank you for coming to Rockingham!

All 4 of us dining here last night could not have been more pleased! The service was great, our waiter was very personable, our order arrived timely and was 100% correct, and each of our dishes were delicious. We sat outside but took a quick look inside. While the place is small, it’s very attractive, clean, and welcoming. I highly recommend this new restaurant and would love to see them do well!

The food here is incredible! My son had the Chicken Madras and I had the Veg Korma — both were full of flavor and cooked perfectly. The naan was fresh and soft, and the service made us feel right at home. The owner is incredibly nice and so is the staff.
Ignore the one-star reviews — they’re not even from real customers. I spoke with the owner, and it was the same person posting multiple times just because they showed up before the restaurant was even open inside. Don’t let that throw you off — this place is the real deal. Best food in Rockingham, hands down!

Some of the best Indian food we’ve had in a while… definitely worth the hour drive it took to get there. The waiter was pleasant and atmosphere was surprisingly inviting. Quite a little gem in an otherwise unassuming locale.
