First off, hands down some of the nicest people in a restaurant period.
Went with my friend last Sunday and the women serving us were very polite and down to earth.
We got the nachos, I got the Mole and my friend got the asada plate.
They make a good drink too!
Finished it all up with some flan
The salsas are perfect and everything else were great sized portion, you won’t leave hungry.
It is a bit expensive but a good meal is always worth the cost.
I recommend everybody give this place a try!

Delicious food. Lovely atmosphere. Great vegetarian options. Spicy and flavorful homemade salsas. Best beans I’ve had from a Mexican restaurant. I wish I lived closer ad could come back! Highly recommend this. I lived in California, Texas and Mexico and I have been trying to find good Mexican food in the NE and this was it!! I also loved the sign out front and it made me even happier to support this restaurant.

Do yourself a favor and stop by Mazorca for some amazing Mexican food. I always pass by this place and never dined in, until today, and it was so so good! The staff is so friendly and helpful for providing recommendations. We got the nachos and each one was individually loaded and these might be the best nachos I’ve had in CT. The taco tortillas was perfect, the beef quality was very clean, and the entree dishes are massive. They also have vegetarian options as well. And ask them about the heartbreaker drink, it’s so delicious!

Wow some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. Everything was very fresh and delicious. I had the pork burrito and mini flautas and an ice cold Modelo. The two girls behind the bar were very nice and helpful. A must try. I will definitely be eating there again.

We stopped in for lunch and we couldn’t be happier with the food and service we received. The staff were all extremely welcoming and friendly especially to my 2 year old. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. We loved it here, a must try in CT!

The entire restaurant was a lot bigger than I thought. The food was pretty good. It was a kinda loud but there was a party then. The portion size was decent, and the peanuts served before the food was good. The desserts looked really good but I was too full to try them.

FIVE STARS. I eat here multiple times a week. The owner and her staff are always super welcoming and accommodating. Karaoke is fun! This is a place where people find community. There’s a flex space that they open to folks to hold classes and events. Definitely a Hamden gem!

Favorite restaurant within my household. My sisters boyfriend had his birthday dinner here!
The food is wonderful and the staff is lovely and charming! Whether you go for a quick taco or sit down for a nice bowl of soup, or savor the mole that the owner’s mother make the base for and ships over from Mexico, they will all hit the spot!
I also love that they had a free children’s book stand to keep kids reading and entertained during the summer, it’s always nice to be able to support a business who cares for the community they are apart of!

This place’s decor won’t win any prizes, but they have the most delicious tamales in CT! Good tacos and burritos, too! Will definitely return for other dishes.
