Restoran Dynasty

Unlike traditional thick curry, our customized nyonya curry is extraordinary in lime sour curry soup base with aroma coconut milk, that will make you more appetizing. Oops, if you’re a fans of traditional thick curry, we’re sorry that we might not your cup of tea, coffee, cake, or vege. *Our hot sambal is home-made with various spices, so it’s much more fragrance and fresher compare with others* That’s why we’re having huge loss from the budget of making sambal as our loyal customers in usj 2 liked our sambal so much, used to ask more and more sambal when take away or dine in.

Restoran Dynasty USJ2 Has Good Choices – Chiefeater.com

So far at the Restoran Dynasty USJ2, we have tried all the 3 stalls selling Beef noodles, Pork leg/Koay Chap and also the Thai small fry dishes too.

I came here very often mostly because it’s not as crowded. A more relaxing place to have lunch. Huxulao curry mee is good, sour nyonya curry. Zapfan is good, make sure you buy early to get fresh and hot dish. Yongtaogu is good too, taste fresh.

curry mee and kuey teow thng have seniority of tenure here. former is in local style, ie spicy and sour, as contrasts with penang-style offering nearby. chap fan is better than nearby competition.

kaisi horfun actually edges out KTT in battle of soups. prawns add oceanic saltiness and richness, and noodles come with characteristic kinta-valley texture and toothiness.

wan tan mee offers broad spectrum of forms, and is good across board. char kuey teow is likewise good. taukeh pays attention to his press, to boot. ditto kampua, with red sauce being particularly fragrant.

chicken rice is also excellent eating. pak cham kai is lovingly blanched in soup. which smells and tastes fantastic, down to last dregs.

Most of the stalls are still cool by the local Chinese, at least for the CKT and curry noodle. I won’t say it is extremely good kinda food but their food can beat many restaurants inside a mall.

But of course the atmosphere here is bit warm and typical local style.

Dropped by Restoran Dynasty in USJ2 and tried their Fish Head Noodles and Tom Yum Noodles—both were impressive!

The Fish Head Noodles came with a creamy, flavorful broth that had just the right level of richness. The fish was fresh and fried to golden perfection—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and free from any unpleasant fishy smell. They also offer Chinese wine on the side, which you can add to the soup for extra aroma and depth. It made the broth even tastier and more satisfying.

The Tom Yum Noodles hit all the right notes for me. The soup was bold, spicy, and tangy—exactly how I like it. It had a nice depth of flavor without being overpowering. The chilies were fragrant and added a satisfying kick, enhancing the overall taste without overwhelming the palate.

Will definitely come back to try other dishes.

I am lucky today, easily get the parking.

1. Char Koay Teow – 2/10 (RM8)
Extremely dry!!! lacked both oil and moisture.
I rarely leave food unfinished, but this was one of those rare times I just couldn’t continue.
Easily one of the worst Char Koay Teow I’ve ever had.

2. Cham Ice – 7/10 (RM3)
Surprisingly good! Well-balanced between coffee and tea.
A nice combination that helped save the meal slightly.

Food are good. Tried hakka noodle (blander compare other food but taste just right) , char kway teow (heavier taste), penang noodle soup, hatyai beef noodle (very nice).
The place ventilation is good, not feeling hot.

Not crowded. Came here for curry noodle. Was good. But the restaurant I feel does not really follow SOP in table distance. It’s was too close like back to back with people. Don’t feel safe.

Coffee was good. Service was good. Curry noodles was alright. Yong tau fu is worth mention as it’s freshly made. Not ready made. And do not need to wait long for it.

Seems like this restaurant has lost its ummph over the years, and when I visited in Dec 2022, the place looks so dead. Many people told me that this coffee shop has not bad food, but when I got here at 12.15, the place was quiet, on a Wed afternoon.

Some claim that the Fried Kueh Teow is one of the better ones, so I saw this uncles stall called Popeye fried kueh teow, and tried it. Sadly, it’s not as what many claim. Maybe he’s new here? I don’t know.

Nyonya curry had taste slightly different compared those days Fushou Lou uncle cooking, not spicy and having enough fragrance.

Fried kuey teow was average.
