I forgot the lady’s name at the counter but she was very helpful. I asked if they had any spicy green beans and she asked her husband and they went out of their way to make some green beans for me. Thanks so much and they were super good too!

We order from NYFC frequently but today the #3 combo shrimp and fries were so on point and perfect that it warranted stopping mid-meal to write this review. Excellent, and the value proposition makes it even better.
Find a better lunch for under $8 in this area.

Terrible!.. let me first start by saying I have eaten food from the restaurant twice without going in person myself. Both times were chicken cheese steaks.. which are decent when you want something different to eat. But this was my 1st time being there in person. The outside looks nice and clean. The inside of the place needs a deep cleaning and some remodeling.. it’s very dingy and looks like they don’t focus on cleanliness very much. The self-service area was nasty and dirty.. the seasoning in the containers look like they never get changed or containers cleaned. On to the food!. Since I was there in person this time I thought to try something new since I could see the full menu. I decided to try the 3pc tilapia dinner combo. The tilapia was OVERCOOKED hard, small and flavorless, I took a closer look and it has no seasoning whatsoever in the breading. Only one side is edible cause they’re small pieces like you get out of Great Value bag from Walmart. The macaroni was bland, plain and dry.. wasn’t creamy.. wasn’t cheesy.. it just gave me childhood memories of the blue box.. the only flavor you get is the powdered cheese there has painted the noodles. And the fries were okay I guess. NEVER AGAIN!. Put more effort into your business. don’t steal people’s hard earned money. I might as well have gone to a fast food place at least it would have tasted better.

WOW found this little take out and dine in restaurant. Amazing food at amazing prices. This is our 2nd visit in a week. They offer amazing fried chicken and fried fish at really awesome prices also subs . Friendly atmosphere friendly staff. Found my new favorite take out restaurant. I live in Aberdeen but worth the ride to Edgewood. Come check them out , prices are really great if your on a tight budget ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Chicken was good , mashed potatoes were good … now the mac and cheese very disappointed didnt look that good once opened tried it no flavor at all , no milk added nothing plan noodles with cheese throw on top… sad that this new york fried chicken dont make the food from scratch yall have one job make delicious food dont get me started on the dinner rolls they by them from the grocery store already pre made like unexpectable….

The staff is always friendly, but sometimes a bit slow. One time I ordered 50 wings. Got there and was told I didn’t order. Based on her voice I knew it was her that took the call. When I said I used my cell phone and showed her the call, she said it wasn’t their number. That was until I hit call and their phone rang. Hahahaha. Got her!
Outside of that, service has always been excellent. Sometimes a bit slower than expected, but the staff is great.
As for the food, I’ve only ever ordered whole wings. They’re good, but not great. But prices are good.
