This was my encounter with one of your employees at the McDonald’s in Aurora. I went in today with my grandson. After waiting approximately 15 minutes for our order, a worker came out and informed me that he was unable to make hot drinks. My grandson requested a cold caramel macchiato instead and he said he would prepare it. After 10 minutes, we still had no drink and my fries were missing from the order. People coming in after us were receiving their food and drink. Finally, a young lady asked if we were waiting for something. I informed her we were waiting for a drink that the young man was supposed to be preparing. She immediately got the drink and the missing fry. I told her I wanted a refund for the other hot drink. Out comes the man who disappeared, supposedly to make the cold macchiato. I told him we had been waiting 10 minutes for him to return. I told him this was very poor customer service. He kept repeating “are you gonna slide over here so I can give you your refund? I asked his name. He refused to give it. Continued talking over me. He said “ I don’t have time to argue with you, I’m short staffed.” He then turned his back and walked away. I never received my refund.
Was this the manager? If so, his behavior was deplorable. I will NEVER return to this McDonald’s and I will be sure to leave a google review. I am also an Army Veteran and this store touts gratitude to veterans . I certainly didn’t see this today.
This man has no respect for others to be in a position of authority. Your short staffing is no one else’s issue. Also, I contacted the individual named on the sign and received no response.

Absolutely unacceptable experience, waited over 30 minutes for my food! First, when I pulled up to the window to get my food, I was handed the wrong bag. Then the manager Eric came over to the window and asked to have my receipt that they cleared my order from the screen and he could not retrieve it back to know what I had, I gave him my receipt and pulled around as he instructed. After about 10 minutes, an employee came out and tried handing me again the wrong food. He asked to see my receipt so he can get the correct food and I told him the manager took my receipt to make the food since the screen was cleared and they had no idea what my order was. About another five minutes, he came back out with the same incorrect food and asked me if I was sure this was not my order, I told him yes and repeated what I had ordered and that the manager has my receipt of what I ordered. About another 10 minutes had went by. He came back out and told me the manager lost my receipt and there was no way to reprint my receipt (so now I have no receipt) no one knows what I ordered And he wrote down my order to go in and have it made. After about another five minutes, he comes back out with a bag I go through it. Part of my order was in there, but not all of it. I told him what I was missing and he went back in, a few minutes later the rest of had came. It is completely unacceptable for such a sloppy disorganized Manager, who not to mention never even came out to my car to apologize for any of the confusion or had any common courtesy. The employees, however Sinjun and Alicia (the employees who had to keep running back-and-forth to my car due to lack of management able to do his job), We’re very polite, helpful and apologetic for the mistake made by their incompetent Manager Eric! This is the second time in a row that this place has been in straight chaos and could not figure out my order. It is a good thing that there are some great employees, like Sinjun and Alicia, working there who are keeping that store together because management doesn’t know what they’re doing.

Waited in the drive-tru line for 30 minutes and the line NEVER MOVED. There were 12 cars ahead of me and not one of them moved in that period of time. I called the restaurant while I was in line to make sure they were open and the person who answered the phone said there were only two people working. A McDonald’s franchise has TWO people working the entire store at lunch time on a weekday?! Do yourself a favor and avoid this store like the plague. I have already reported this store to McDonald’s corporate.

I was given the wrong order and then was told I cant get a refund so I can come and get a replacement order next time I visit if I give my name and show my receipt. I did just that and they said since I didnt know the name of the manager working that night I could get a replacement. This mcdonalds always messes up my food, always has the rudest employees. It makes sense because even the general manager treated me like crap. Dont go to here whatsoever. Worst mcdonalds in the entire area. Would give lower rating if I could

I went through the drive thru with only one car in front of me and service was quick and courteous for about 2 minutes, until they pulled me into a parking spot and said it would be a few minutes, which was fine as I wasn’t in a rush. 12 minutes later, many cars had come and gone through the drive thru while I continued to patiently wait. I finally left the car and went inside to a lobby with only 2 customers who already had food, no one waiting to order, zero cars in the drive thru and at least 6 visible employees working (maybe pre-ordered services as no one had ordered in person.) The girl who had taken my payment at the first window offered to help me and I explained that I was still waiting. She said she had to go get a manager because there were no orders. The manager came out, but talking to another employee and did nothing to address me or my order, just socializing like I wasn’t waiting. Multiple minutes later, she finally asked if she could help me with something and I explained to her what happened. She went in the back and I heard a male employee comment “that order was more than 20 minutes ago”. It had in fact been more than 20 minutes at that point since I had ordered and still nothing. No food and no apology or any type of hustle to rectify the issue. About a minute later, I was handed a bag of lukewarm fries, rubbery, very old chicken nuggets and a burger that was okay. Nothing was freshly made, so it honestly could have been sitting back there in that bag for 20 minutes and maybe they just found it because there was zero thought or effort into putting it together. The young man who brought it to me in the lobby was polite (both he and the young woman who took my payment were polite and they attempted to help, so I appreciate both of them.) I worked at McDonald’s as a teenager and my background after that was restaurant management elsewhere, so I try not to complain because I remember all to well what it’s like to deal with people complaining. This is why I remained calm and courteous throughout the entire process. However, someone waiting for 20+ minutes for 3 items shouldn’t happen and when it unfortunately does, management should be involved, or have a trained staff to deal with it.

We have been to this location several times for dine in. It’s always dirty in the dining area, even when it’s empty. The wait time for the food is always an extended period. At our last visit we wanted a half hour for fast food! I noticed while we were there tonight several cars from the drive through were coming inside upset missing parts of their orders. We also had some issues with our food but since we have small children it wasn’t worth the trouble to ask for it to be redone. The McDonald’s on 306 and chagrin is 100% better and worth the drive to avoid this mess of a place.

If I could give zero stars, I WOULD!

Truly the worst service of any McDonalds in the area. Waited 45 minutes for a to-good order in the store. Watched them make an elderly man wait 20 minutes for his milkshake, and only when he (rudely) complained did anyone tell him the machine is down. I’m sure there are a few hard workers at this location, and perhaps they’re all just inundated with too much business and not enough staff. Regardless of the reason, this location provides terrible service with unreasonable wait times, and bad attitudes to boot.

I ordered a double cheeseburger and an additional double cheeseburger for one dollar. They asked me to pull up to the curb and wait for my order to come out so other cars could get past me. After 10 minutes the food came out and the cheeseburgers were cold And very un appetizing. I’m going to be calling the manager tomorrow as this is Sunday night. I took a photo of the burgers, but there’s no place to post it. Imagine the worst.

Went in because the drive through line was so long and wow not only was the place dirty but the service was horrible. Ordered 3 meals, but couldn’t get frozen cokes because it appeared the machine had not been cleaned the the frozen coke had solidified after thawing in the machine. Beverage station was a mess and finding a clean table literally wad a laughable matter. We don’t frequent fast food restaurants often and this was a good reminder why. 2 stars on the food as the fries had zero salt and we couldn’t even get the frozen cokes that we had ordered.
