Café Weldon is truly a gem. This newly opened, family-run, veteran-owned business delivers on every level—delicious food, warm hospitality, and a space that feels instantly welcoming. The café is housed in a beautifully converted historic hardware store, with original features that add so much charm and character to the space.
The atmosphere is cozy, warm, and inviting, with plenty of comfortable seating whether you’re stopping in for a quick coffee or your catching up with friends. Their breakfast and lunch offerings are classic favorites, excellent—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The iced coffee was delicious, and the BLT was outstanding—one of those simple dishes done exceptionally well.
Café Weldon feels like the kind of place that quickly becomes a local favorite: genuine, welcoming, and rooted in community. I would hands-down recommend it to anyone passing through or living nearby.

Best coffee in town, hands down
Cafe Weldon is easily the best coffee spot in the area. The coffee is consistently delicious you can tell they actually care about what they’re serving.
The staff is awesome, too. They’re super friendly and just generally great to deal with. It’s rare to find a place that nails both the coffee and the service like this. Definitely check it out if you haven’t yet.

This newly opened jewel is such a treat! My sweet friend enjoyed a fantastic hot Matcha with the flavoring of her choice. I had a fantastic brown sugar latte and a really yummy homemade bacon, egg, and cheese croissant (but they also have pastries and all kinds of other beverage options) — and we will definitely be back bringing more friends with us when we come. These are a very sweet coffee shop family, and what a blessing this place is to the community! It’s also super cool to watch the trains go by out the back window!

By far the most unique cafe in the region and only a short drive from the interstate! The history infused architectural style is warm and inviting. If you stay long enough you’ll catch the train cars passing by out the back windows. Great people, coffee and food! Highly recommend!

My mother and I were in search for a coffee shop all day on Christmas and nothing was open. To our surprise (lord forgive me I forgot the owners name) but she saw us peeking through the window and although they were closed, because of her family Christmas party- she opened her doors just for us and made my mother and I the BEST LATTE in the world! Her mother and family were so sweet and kind and we will never forget that moment. Thank you for making a memory ❤️ and best of luck to all your future endeavors If we’re ever in the area we will surely comeback!!!
