So my son and I were craving Ramen shortly after our trip to Tokyo and I’ve always thought the ramen here was good mainly because of the value pricing. But after comparing more directly from our recent trip I can honestly say their Tonkotsu Ramen (Black) is pretty darn authentic! It is our go to place to fill the craving for some legit ramen and I’m a Japanese son of the first ramen shop owner in Calgary called ‘Cafe de Tokyo’ so i’m picky with my ramen. Happy we live close by to visit when the craving hits.

They are absolutely fantastic!! I got a 24 pack of spicy sushi and a black ramen. Both were fantastic and you cannot beat the price! I paid about 30$ when the original bill was a little over 40$. They give a 20% discount if you pick up. Also please don’t use Skip, or DoorDash. All of these delivery companies take anywhere from 10 to 30% of the profits from each order. It’s much better and cheaper for everyone to order it online/over the phone and go pick it up.

It was happy to find a spot where I can enjoy Japanese-style pasta at a reasonable price! Unlike the usual ramen places, this place offers pasta with a unique Japanese twist. I tried the squid ink pasta and uni pasta, and both were absolutely delicious. The karaage I ordered was okay—not the highlight—but overall, the meal was great. I’ve been back a few times since, and each visit has been just as tasty. Definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for something a bit different!

We have been coming to this awesome dinner for the last couple of years. They have changed up their menu a couple of times but no matter what the ramen has been Steller. I have tried each one and the bold/black ramen and the red hot ramen have been my top picks.
The atmosphere is fun and creative. Tons of art everywhere and the staff are super nice.
You pick your own seat and pay for your meal before you get it. A very nice and easy system.
No mask required at all, totally out dated but overall a great place to grab lunch or dinner. They have a cool snack selection and a fridge section with fresh sushi and bubble tea and all kinds of interesting drinks.
The food here tastes amazing and makes me come back again and again.
This place is definitely worth a try!
Will keep coming back again and again
5/5!

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed the squid ink spaghetti with prawns and the scallop uni fettuccine. Honestly, the pastas were perfectly done as you find in a white tablecloth restaurant (for triple the price). The umami in each dish was naturally derived from seafood, not forced by seasoning and beautifully garnished by fresh arugula.
We finished the meal with house made ice cream, Blue Moon and Butter Me Up. The Blue Moon was chock full of whole blueberries and the Butter Me Up was smooth avocado. Not terribly sweet but really full of flavour and great creamy texture.
Let me cut to the chase: you have to eat here. It’s incredibly pocketbook friendly, delicious and unpretentious. I tipped generously as it was going to the hard working chef in their open kitchen preparing all those dishes with love. It’s great food at an amazing price which is such a rare business model.

We ate lunch at this Tokyo Station and ordered Black Tonkotsu Ramen (tonkotsu base, noodle, black garlic oil, green onions, seaweed, chashu, minced pork and dried seaweed), Red Ramen (spicy red base, noodle, light garlic oil, green onion, seaweed, kimchi, chashu and minced pork), Bold Ramen (laksa base, noodle, light garlic oil, green onion, seaweed and chashu) and Curry Chicken Wing (three pieces of the whole chicken wings with Japanese curry flavour seasoning). The food tasted delicious and appetizing! There are a nice selection of ramens, donburi bowls, sushi, pasta, sides like chicken wings, karaage bites, takoyaki, veggie spring rolls, gyoza, and various ice-cream/ gelato flavours and beverages available too. The place is nice with a cozy atmosphere. We had some difficulty looking for parking spots because it was lunchtime, just be patient and you will surely be able to find one.

My friends and I had a great time! The staff was amazing and super friendly, the environment mimicked an underground rail
station in Japan, and the atmosphere was so upbeat! They played Japanese pop music in the background. There was a group of 10 of us, and not a single complaint! I don’t have any photos, but was permitted to vlog my experience for my YouTube channel; Incurably Awesome. So if you want to see what my experience was like, be sure to check out my channel! Thanks for the fun memories, Tokyo Station!

Um…I love this place! The Ramen and karaage are both excellent, and you can choose from a wide variety of desserts and drinks. It isn’t a gimmicky store, and everything is straightforward. Just make sure you clean up after yourself if you dine in!

Went on a weekday evening and there were quite a few seats available outside, on the main floor, and upstairs. There is street parking out front and deeper in the neighboring area.
The menu is quite brief and self-explanatory above the register. Ordered the creamy uni scallop fettuccine and the mushroom soy butter spaghetti. As a combo, each dish came with an appetizer and a drink. After ordering, we were free to find our own seats and then grab the food when it was ready. The food was prepared within 10-15 minutes and was plated nicely. The takoyaki was acceptable, considering they are not made in-house, and the gyoza was crispy. The pasta dishes were quite flavourful and the fettuccine had quite the umami flavour.
The price point was very fair for the amount of food and we were allowed to stay as long as we liked. Would recommend for a casual bite.

We grabbed a late night bowl at 9pm. Glad it’s open until 10. For $15 the ramen was really good. You order up front and pick up, so it’s a fast and cheap experience. Nice that it’s tucked away off 14 st.
