Absolutely loved the food here! The biryani is flavorful and aromatic, and the kadai paneer is our absolute favourite rich, perfectly spiced, and made with very fresh ingredients. The lunch thali is great value for money, with generous portions and excellent taste. Everything felt freshly prepared and comforting. Definitely a place worth visiting again!

My friend ordered from there last night. She orders often from here and loves it. She ordered the tandoori chicken platter for $21.00 and asked me to share it with her.
I’m so thankful she did! I look very much forward to ordering this dish from pay2 butter chicken. They did a magnificent job with the whole platter. Portion was generous in equation to the cost and the flavour profile definitely did it for me.
A lovely spot downtown red deer I would have so easily otherwise missed and am once again thankful I got the opportunity to try this restaurants food and look forward to a further tasty visit in the not so distant future.
Also my friend is gluten free so there are some gluten free options available as well as she swears by several of this restaurants dishes. I also highly look forward to trying your naan bread. Nothing like a good naan.
Thanks pay2 chicken for the awesome meal and keep up the well made food and great service

Absolutely best, Biryani ! Very friendly service. We ordered the Lamb Biryani and Butter Chicken with garlic Naan bread. The sauces for the Biryani elevated the dish to another level! You gotta eat here!

The food we had was excellent! We ordered the goat curry, beef korma, goat Biryani, plain naan and plain rice. Everything was good! No complaints at all, only positive things to say about everything.
The dine in atmosphere could be improved but that doesn’t matter if you order to go.

I’ve been to this place many times before, but my recent visits have been disappointing—and I won’t be coming back.

Issues I noticed:
1. Hygiene & Cleanliness: From the tables to the washrooms, everything needs a deep clean. Our table still had bread crumbs on it when we sat down.
2. Pricing: The menu feels misleading. While main items seem reasonably priced, the extras are shockingly overpriced. For example, a plain naan is $3, and a mango lassi (made from pulp, not fresh) is $9. It doesn’t stop there—the list goes on.

Message to the owner: If you’re going to charge premium prices, start by investing in your restaurant. The place is outdated and needs major renovations. Upgrade your decor and cleanliness to meet 2025 standards, and then people like me would actually feel good about paying what you’re charging.

The food was not good. We ordered the chicken curry, lamb curry, & garlic naan. The naan was the only good thing about the meal.

We ordered directly through the restaurants website for pick up. The food was made quick, and the portions were large for the price.

However the food was absolutely swimming in so much oil and grease that it was practically inedible. (See photo) The chicken curry had very little flavour and tasted really bland.

Would not go back unfortunately. We had high hopes given the amount of high reviews!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND
Best Indian and Pakistani food to try in red deer.
We ordered lamb chop , biriyani and naan.
The Lamb chop was so big in quantity that me and my husband couldn’t not finish it and had to pack it for home.. same with the biriyani. There was 3 of us and the quantity of food was even big enough for 3 of us .
The food was awesome. Real test of deshi food. Everything was very tasty. We were looking for an authentic Indian flavor for quit a long time in red deer and find it finally.

The service of the restaurant was excellent. The food was served quickly and service was great.
Over all a great Saturday night experience.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Newly opened just two weeks ago, my partner and I have decided this is our new favourite Indian (and only Pakistani) restaurant in Red Deer! The array of choices on the menu is impressive and staff were kind and attentive. We had the butter chicken, shahi paneer, veggie biryani and garlic naan. We would especially recommend the shahi paneer and the naan was the perfect combination of chewy and crispy!
