Met the family for a Saturday night dinner. We were seated immediately and the server promptly provided the customary chips and salsa. The menu is pretty standard with all of the normal choices for a Tex-Mex Place. I ordered the steak tacos and they were good. The rest of the party seemed happy with their selections. The atmosphere was just like most Tex-Mex places … colorful with lots of wood.

Really great food. The menu contains everything you would want at a Mexican restaurant. I tried a seafood burrito because that was not common anywhere else. Fantastic. Shrimp, scallops, and crab meat (Pollock), covered in a white cheese sauce. My friend got steak fajitas.

We have celebrated many birthdays at Mariachi Mexican Restaurant in Washington IL. Staff has always been nice and helpful. I am in a wheelchair and they made me feel right at home. Food was delicious….combo plates are great.
We are going again for my sister’s birthday on Friday. Going to get a tamale this time and of course rice and beans!
Update:. Had a party of 7 people, sat at table 22, had great food, wonderful server named Wendy was fantastic. Warm tortilla chips, salsa, and they had so many choices it was hard to pick what I wanted for lunch.
My hubby and I ended up with their lunch combo …He had a #3, which had a beef buritto, rice and beans. I had a lunch combo #9, which had a beef burrito, A TAMALE, and your choice of rice OR beans. I chose beans, because I love them with the warm tortilla chips.
Great amount of food for $6.99 each for lunch meal and then you pay extra for a soda, or other drink.
Oh, and yes my combo had a TAMALE!

She was a new girl as a waitress. She done a phenomenal job of taking care of my companion, and I I won’t go into what we ordered, but it was spectacular. Very very tasty very well.
