This is a brand spanking new place, and folks, it’s WONDERFUL! The original sandwich is just the best and the old-fashioned bottle of coke was the best. The staff and service were very quick, and the food was hot and fresh and the toasted sandwich was great . I’m so glad we stopped ✋️ in for a quick bite to eat and I encourage you to do the same.. I had the Calzone and a turkey sandwich. The Calzone was fabulous! Hot deli meats, plenty of cheese, and a buttery crust. This place was a delicacy when I was a kid..and it’s still true today. Good work!

Rude employees plus they got my order was wrong and it looked messy. I had to pay an extra $2 to add chicken that was cold to my pizza. I have order the same thing many times before without any issues.

Update (3/29/2022)
The staff is so rude. I asked for cinnamon rolls (because I refuse to eat the food anymore) to dine in. The man at the counter was super lazy and didn’t even warm them up, then as soon as we had our food, he left and hasn’t been seen since. Our rolls arrived cold and in to go boxes. I had to ask for an extra plate. Then upon finding them cold, waited at the counter for 5 minutes before anyone even would answer me there. They warned them up but it was such a chore according to their faces.
Staff is very friendly and food is always good! Please take the negative reviews with a grain of salt. There’s always going to be rough spots when a restaurant is brand new!
Update (3/18/2018):
Since the change over to the “Austin Eatery” we are less than impressed. The food was a cold as the staff and the entire atmosphere was cold and unfriendly. Wait time for 2 pizzas, a bowl of soup and a plate of Mac and cheese was easily a20 minute wait. Mac and cheese and soup sat on the counter while our pizzas finished cooking. Staff was distant and slow. And I don’t care what time of day it is, if you are open DO NOT STACK CHAIRS ON TABLES!
Finally, in a stroke of desperation we decided to order Cinnabon. 1 pack of mini bites and a regular bun were not warmed (as previously had been done without the need to request it to be warmed) and when we received them, bit in unaware, to sad cold buns.
We would have complained to the staff but didn’t want to risk the “secret sauce treatment” to our food.

We were the only ones in the store and no one was in the drive thru. We waited a while before anyone came to the front and then half an hour before I asked where our food was at. As soon as I brought it up it took less than 5 minutes for them to bring out our food. They offered us a cookie as consolation but refused a refund. They were skimpy on the lettuce so much so that I had to look around for it on my sandwich. We payed $30 for two meals and not fast service. When the cashier was apologizing I asked her why she didn’t check on us after seeing we had been there for a while and she said this is fast food not waitressing.

If you want your meal made right the first, second or even the third time don’t come here. They are nice, but it is incredible how hard it was for them to make a turkey and cheese sandwich with mayo, and that is it. They made me a sandwich with just turkey and Mayo the 3rd and I just ate it because I was irritated. But they need to get someone in there with better training or to make the younger people in the back focus on what their doing, especially if they are messing it up 3 times.

I’ve been here two times ever. Once last year was horrible. Now I heard there was a staff change, so I gave them another shot. Let me just say for a $10, what I got wasn’t barely edible. I asked for a dip melt with no onions. What I got was a rock hard sandwich with little meat, covered in onions and no dipping sauce…which remember I ordered a DIP sandwich. The kicker was when I picked it up there wasn’t a single customer there inside or out, and they still didn’t bother to actually read what I had ordered. Please just close down so we can get a good restaurant where you are! Management should be ashamed.

Visited on a day when they were severely short-staffed. It was just the poor manager and a new person that he was training. But the manager was very apologetic and pleasant and offered us all free drinks while we waited. I was very impressed that he never lost his cool and maintained his friendliness. He deserves a raise! And if you need a job, come work for him. You won’t regret it.
