My name is Mrs. Bollin and I’m from Cedar Hill, TX. I was in Prosper recently for a business meeting and decided to stop by Legacy Bagels because I was running a little late and needed something quick. I went through the drive-through not really knowing what to order because, believe it or not, I had never eaten a bagel before and honestly didn’t think I would even like one.
When I pulled up, I was greeted by the tallest young man I think I’ve ever seen! I swear Corey looked like he was about 7 feet tall. He was so polite, respectful, and helpful. Since I told him I had never tried a bagel before, he recommended one with sausage, egg, and bacon.
I didn’t even get a chance to eat it until I got to the parking lot at my meeting location, but when I finally did… wow! It was fresh and so good. I was genuinely surprised by how much I enjoyed it.
I don’t know if Corey will ever see this review, but if you happen to stop by Legacy Bagels, please tell him Mrs. Bollin from Cedar Hill sent you. And don’t let his height scare you. He’s truly a gentle giant.

Hey! I’m normally not the type to leave reviews because many times people are so judgmental. Anyways, there is a bagel shop in Prosper that I stopped by called Legacy Bagels. A buddy of mine often brings their bagels to the recording studio where we work. I decided to stop and grab some yesterday and the place was really nice. There was a girl working there and I didn’t catch her name but Corey was really cool and his customer service was top notch. Kids these days really have horrible customer service at many places. It’s just not like it used to be. However, Corey was great!!!!!!!. I told him I would leave a review yesterday but I didn’t get a chance to do so until now.

Love legacy bagels. I normally stop and grab a blueberry bagel with cream cheese. The quality of ingredients are great. But for the price of the bagel and portion size is not enough.

After shopping, I was excited when I saw this place because I absolutely love pastries, but to my surprise, they had my favorite…cinnamon rolls! I ordered just one since it was my first time there. Oh my goodness, it was freshly made, ingredients on target, and delicious! I also appreciated the service you rarely experience anymore. A young man, Corey, waited on me. He was calm, polite, neat, very respectful and answered all my questions about the bagels and cinnamon rolls. And he did so with a smile. Rare character these days and times. Thank you Mr. Corey, your service was greatly appreciated and loved the cinnamon rolls. I will return soon!

I visited Legacy Bagels and ordered the California sandwich, asking for bacon instead of ham. Unfortunately, the bacon was either undercooked or fatty, and I’m not sure why I received it like that. What’s even more disappointing is that the person who made it looked like me. It’s frustrating to be given something like that. Additionally, the customer service was poor. Yesterday, a woman made the same sandwich and it was perfect, which is why I came back for another. However, they were out of the jalapeño cheddar bagel. I didn’t bring it up because I shouldn’t have to—especially when you know the bacon was undercooked. Why would you serve that to a customer? I don’t know if he was having a bad day or frustrated and I pray it gets better . But don’t treat people like that. I said have a great day and he was silent .

This place has gone downhill consistently over time and today is the last time we will ever go there. I hate to give a bad review and try not to but sometimes the people gotta know. How are customers giving such high reviews? We stopped buying the breakfast sandwiches a few months ago because there was hardly anything in them . We tried just ordering bagels a couple times but noticed the bagels becoming lower quality. They seemed dry and possibly old so we stopped going here entirely. Today we made the mistake of giving it another shot because we were in the area running errands and craving a bagel. We should have stuck with never going back. They are tough and hard to chew when you bite into them and so skinny they are just a ring with no center. We went through the drive thru and we looked in the bag before heading home I would have asked for a refund. When you pay $30 for a dozen bagels it’s a total waste of money. I’m not exaggerating when I say it is just skinny rings of bread that are tough and chewy. Terrible. Lesson learned!
