Delicious! Definitely the spot for a tasty burger and fries. We came here after visiting a farm on the way back home and so glad we did! I had the special sauce double burger with cheese fries and it hit the spot! Best burger and house made cheese fries I’ve had in a looong time! We might make the drive again for it when we’re craving a delicious burger because it was THAT good. We also had the Mac & cheese bites for an app and they were also delicious! Freshly made and the perfect amount of cheesy and pasta in the middle not dry at all like some Mac and cheese bites can be.
Service was great, very friendly, welcoming, and attentive ladies that made sure we had everything we needed and were enjoying our food. The vibe was very chill, they have a nice bar you can hang at if that’s your vibe or some high top tables – you sit and they’ll come to you! I’m not sure if it’s like this every night as it was our first time and it was pretty busy but we were greeted right way when we chose our table and people after us say down too – again very chill! It’s dark but lightly lit, usual bar/tavern ambience. We came early so we felt it was kid friendly (over 6 year old). Not sure if there’s high chairs for younger kids.

Tavern on the Rocks is easily one of the best spots around. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is welcoming and the staff makes you feel like a regular even if it’s your first time there. The customer service is excellent, attentive, friendly, and genuinely happy to help.
The food is well above standard bar food. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. You can tell they take pride in what they serve.
The staff is incredibly kind and professional, which really adds to the experience. On top of that, the music and overall vibe are fantastic. It has great energy without being overwhelming. It’s the kind of place where you can relax, have a good time, and enjoy the night.

Awesome dive bar. Art inside is cool and the food we had was great. Wings are excellent. Good balance of meat and crunch. Pizza was good too. Very fragrant with the basil. Nachos were well covered with everything. Unfortunately we went right after the storm so they didn’t have much of their menu. Can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu.
Tried a bit of their 4/20 themed menu and it was incredible. Great for sharing with friends. The pizza was very creative and not overwhelming. The totchos were so cool. Tater tots shaped like “L” and “T” and it was super balanced. Not too heavy and great for sharing with the trivia team.

We absolutely love coming here! Lucas and Vanessa are amazing bartenders!! always friendly, fast, and fun. The place is always decorated so nicely. There’s such a great vibe every time we visit. We love when Powerhouse Productions is here for karaoke it’s always a blast! We just wish it went a little later or happened more often because we can never get enough! Come to tavern !!!!!

The place was filled with people, laughter, and plenty of chatter! TVs, a pool table, just a fun place to grab a bite and forget your troubles. Had a pretty nice time. Had two drinks (amaretto sours). They do have a $1 charge for the sour. Big cups but with plenty of ice as well. Drinks were decent.
Pretzels were very delicious, so were the burgers !!! Service was amazing . Definitely will go back! Forgot to take pics. . . . Sorry!

Are you tired of the sterile environment of say Applebees? Would you like to visit a dive bar that’s a one-off original with it’s own funky atmosphere? Say they had the best burgers around. Sold yet? What about a killer beer menu? This is the place you need to be. My barbecue bacon burger was excellent. Dark Tower beer fabulous. Don’t bring your whining kids here. No one would appreciate it. Besides there are neon signs with colorful language on the walls you won’t want to explain!
I would rather visit here than any french restaurant any day.

$12 a pizza pie =decent prices and good selection of draft beer.
Definitely coming back there.
As of July 2024 and update from las last review, this is place is still awesome. The bartenders are super nice.

Tavern on the rocks has amazing food, staff and atmosphere. From their awesome appetizers, to their burgers and cheese fries there is something to delight all. Also all kinds of beers on tap, as well as fun cocktails. The atmosphere is fun, friendly, festive and local! Today I’m trying the loaded cheese fries for the first time and very excited.

The response to this post is INACCURATE. I don’t know anyone from that area. To be very clear, I didn’t walk in with anyone that night. I was completely alone. Maybe you assumed because I’m a woman that I can’t go anywhere by myself but I can and I did. Maybe encouraging me to “find a more suitable place” was the intention and I got the message LOUD and clear.
I stopped in following an appointment, excited to try a burger & a light beer. I was met with cold stares & absolutely no welcome at all so I walked right out. It’s not as if the people there were spending any money. I understand regulars are important but so could be the word of mouth of an out of towner. I felt as if I’d walk into someone’s living room. Thankfully I found a more welcoming place to grab a bite nearby.
