Spending the night at a local lodge and the Famer’s Kountry Kitchen was recommended as a good place for dinner. It did not disappoint. It has a comfortable, small local diner atmosphere. The staff and owner, very friendly and accommodating. I indulged in the Philly steak and chesse. It was large and very good. I understand why it it is their most popular sandwich. I found the prices very reasonable. It’s rare these days to get an good value at restaurants. I feel certain, they have better food, bigger portions and better prices than any fast food chain. Stop by and enjoy a good meal that will fill your belly and a smile on your face.

The food is good, however watch what your order.
Water cost $1 unless you explicitly order tap water. The cheese steak with fries was good… except they charge extra for cheese and fries, without telling you. Also ask for a receipt because they will not give it to you. In the end they took the extra charges off our order.

Incredible. I would put more stars if they allowed. Incredible pepperoni rolls. Fresh ingredients. My buddy got their burger, and the seasoning and care that went into it is nothing short of legendary.

Good food and friendly owner. Food was fantastic hot and tasted great. I have always came to this restaurant for years and didn’t even know the name had changed. And I even ate there once after it changed names and owners. Food is even better then before. If you like pizza calazones and cheese bread this is the place to go. I make sure to stop here every time I head to Pipestem Spa and event center. I photograph lots of bands there and this is my number 1 spot to always eat at on my trips.

Well I am not one to get on here and complain but I am today!!! With the price of everything today you expect to at least get something edible! My husband went this morning to Kountry Kitchen in Ghent this morning and we got three omelets it was 57.00 I’m not bitching about the price it is what it is, but if I can’t eat it I have a problem. Then when we call out there were told they can’t do anything about it because the owner wasn’t there and we asked for a replacement and they put us on hold and never came back to the phone! When I say uneatable it was disgusting I ordered a Western omelette which typically comes with onions, peppers, ham, cheese. Mine came with onions, ham, turkey, dressing, and no cheese, and a highly scorched egg. I also ordered grits and I added butter to them and they were still not edible.
My husband just went back out there they would not replace the food!!! We were told the owner would be out til tomorrow and now we’re being told that he will be out til the 26th. That his son is supposed to be running the place and he’s out shopping today and don’t know when he will be back!!!

Why haven’t we stopped here sooner? Our burgers were huge and delicious. The prices are very reasonable and the menu has something for everyone. Wonderful people, too! We will be back.

We heard about this place from locals or might have missed it. The food is great. I had a Chef Salad, my BF had a burger and onion rings and my Mom had the veggies stuffed baked potato. We all were happy! The onion rings were among the best I’ve had. Family owned, Chef is family. Jammed packed during ski season, but this is also a lovely time to be in the area and not crowded. Super convenient to Winterplace.
