I recently dined at this charming Korean spot and had a wonderful experience. The street food offerings were delicious, bringing authentic flavors that truly impressed. Their comfort foods were equally satisfying, perfect for a cozy meal. What makes this place stand out is its unique wall concept – you can use a Sharpie to write your name, adding a personal touch to the vibrant decor. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff were friendly and attentive. It’s a delightful place to enjoy tasty Korean cuisine with a fun, interactive twist. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a memorable dining experience!

Soo delicious! We went their for a birthday and one of our party members was VERY picky with what they wanted to eat. The server handled the situation so nicely and calmy dispite the problems we were facing. This was my first time having soba, so I can’t really compare it with anything but it was absolutely delicious! Me and my table were absolutely in love with the tteok-bokki on the skewers, I wasn’t even able to get a full photo before they were eaten! The katsu is so nice and crispy and honestly just great all around. The omelette was prepared perfectly and the presentation of all the food is so neeat and wonderful. I adored the fact that you could write on the walls, and I would definitely want to come back again!

The waiter was really nice and friendly. Definitely made me feel welcomed. I got the spicy katsu, tettbokki, and steamed eggs. The spicy katsu and the steamed eggs were really good but the tettbokki tasted very watery with no flavour, which was disappointing. Overall everything else was good besides the tettbokki.

I had a lunch with friend and came back twice after that.
“Basak” in Korean means crispy and this restaurant knows how to make katsu and tempura crispy!
Perfectly cooked Don katzu every time and udon, spicy ttepoki (rice cake), soba were on point!
Place is clean, young vibe and service is efficient!
Parking is on the street with meter parking but it’s worth it!

The basac is a great place to come with friends especially if you craving korean food. My friends usually get the chicken feet combo which comes with rice balls and egg omelette and it is super yummy.
If you don’t like chicken feet i would recommend the army stew or spicy rice cakes!
With your meal you can also get cute aprons so you don’t make a mess which is super cute
Food pictured: Chicken feet, rice balls, and egg omelets

We were craving for pork cutlet and friends recommended us The Basac which is one of their favorite pork cutlets in Flushing.
The decor was rusty with industrial & vintage-like furniture and the ambiance is cozy & relaxing. There is a great variety of options on the menu and we had a hard time making up our decisions.
We had their Boneless Chicken and Pork Katsu. The food was overall delicious with great portion and we even had the chicken to-go. We love their Pork Katsu, it was well-fried and juicy inside with crispy layer.
We would like to visit again for their DIY Ddukbbokki and Corn Dogs, which were also recommended by our friends.

Their fried items were very crispy and didn’t become soggy for a long time. Dduckbokki was good too but the rice cakes were too small and fish cakes were too thin for me. The corn dog was good, but they only had the regular sausage available.
.
I also felt like the creamy sauce they had went bad and had minimum of $20 on each credit card.

The absolute nicest and best staff here!! And the food is absolutely delicious. Korean street food with cheap prices. The Corn Dogs are the best thing this place has. I got the Tteokbokki was so yummy and cheesy and spicy and delicious! I also got a cheese dumpling and beef over rice and those were both yummy as well. Come here!!!

This place is pretty average; good pricing for the amount of food you get.
We ordered ddukboki (spicy rice cake) ramen, ddukboki skewers and the udon cutlet set. The ddokboki wasn’t spicy at all, we messed up and didn’t get cheese on top . The skewers were ok, they were crispy. They could offer a meat variation (and charge more) with a mix of meat and sausage, since they sell corn dogs there.
The udon set was also ok, the pork cutlet was crispy but needed more seasoning. For both soup dishes, the ramen and udon noodles were over cooked so they became 불었어.

Corn dog heaven!!!
If you have been looking for a place to feel that crunch and cheese pull from each bite of a delicious warm fluffy corn dog, look no further.
They have a nice selection of corn dogs, I recommend the cornflake one, beyond crunchy.
Speaking of crunchy, the fried chicken was extra crunchy while maintaining all the juice. I would recommend going boneless, the bone in isn’t wings and drumsticks, it’s a whole chicken. Another big hit at our table was the fire chicken, not too spicy and worked well mixed into the tteokbokki.
And to end off a great meal, the servers were extremely friendly.
