Everything that comes out this kitchen is delicious. The ribs JUMP off the bone; they are the juiciest, most tender ribs I’ve ever tasted! The portions are very generous. This place tastes like 3 Michelin stars. I love that she posts on Facebook to let folks know that food is ready. I’m so happy DeSoto has this woman-owned business!

Papa & Mama Chat’s soul food was delicious!!! Was visiting the area from Atlanta and was craving soul food. I heard about Papa & Mama Chat’s but wanted to give it a try for myself. Everything on the menu is GOOD! From the turkey wings to the dressing (sooooo) good, to the Mac n cheese!! I topped off my meal with a peach cobbler and I wish I would have bought another one! Being from the south, I know good soul food and this restaurant was GREAT! Service is fast and friendly. I will DEFINITELY be back to visit!

Just stopped by and on a Saturday and got the grilled bbq chicken, potato salad and, collard greens. We hunt 7 miles from here so this is a perfect lunch spot. Absolutely delicious. I will definitely be coming back.
