I’m sad I took my 5 star rating back. The person called me by the wrong name and when I corrected they shrugged and said Sandra Sondra ♀️ I asked to eat in so my food wasn’t soggy. She shrugged that off that and had it in to go boxes. So of course the bread and strips were soggy. The foundation drinks are extremely watered down. The strips are so small now it’s a joke. I’ll never be back. They were so disrespectful!!

I used the app and it said it would take 10-15 mins (I live 11 minutes away). I placed my order just to find out it was gonna take 4. Usually that would be a good thing but since there was no way I could get there in 4 minutes my food was cold when I arrived, the chicken was fine and the bread was fine but the fries were so bad. It was like they cut up sponges from the back and deep fried them for 30 seconds. So yeah if you like spongy fries and wet chicken then just make sure to be able to get there in 4 minutes otherwise they’ll be cold.

I received my order quick, within 5 minutes. The food was hot and fresh. There are 4 food items on the menu, Chicken strips, crinkle fries, Texas toast, Cole slaw, and house sauce. I honestly don’t understand why this chain has been so successful, the food is ok and the menu is extremely small, there are more beverage choices than food. If Craig Silvey didn’t get an A on his business plan, he should have. What I ordered: two 3 fingers combos which came with 3strips, crinkle fries and a Texas toast, toasted on one side and house sauce. They filled my cups with ice before they were given to me. I chose tea for my beverage I mixed half unsweetened and half sweetened it was still too sweet. The chicken strips were very small; the 3 strips were literally about the size of a boneless skinless chicken breast cut into three pieces. The fries were crinkle; the amount you get is similar to the size of fries in a happy meal. The 3-finger combo is a satisfying amount for women, but men will need to order at least 6pieces, probably more because the fries are so few. Although I didn’t find the sauce good, I don’t think I would have been able to eat the strips without it. My order cost $21.71

Came for dinner on opening day and it was packed! Had to park somewhat far away because the drive-thru line was backing everything up. Waited about 20 minutes to order in a line that went far out the door. Only took about 10 minutes for the food to be ready after ordering. I was amazed how prepared the staff were for this, and they were all so friendly! I got the box combo with lemonade and got a nice little table inside. The chicken was hot, fresh, and delicious! I’m glad I got 4 chicken fingers as they seem a bit smaller than at other places. The Cane’s sauce was very flavorful and fun. Coleslaw was great; it reminded me of KFC’s. I normally hate Texas toast but theirs was fabulous and buttery. The lemonade was a bit watery, but maybe that’s how it was supposed to taste? The fries were just okay, not sensational or anything. Glad to see more fried chicken places come to Rockford. I’ll definitely have to stop by again!

The first time we ordered the chicken strips were huge and tasty! (Right after they opened.) This trip thru the chicken strips were tiny, McDonald’s chicken wrap size tiny. What happened? Not worth the 12.00 cost. Very tasty but 45.00 for 3 chicken strip dinners is a lot for what you get. Texas Roadhouse is about the same cost and everyone got full with leftovers. Will try again, I love the toast!

TWO WORDS…FOOD POISONING!
My daughter and I both became violently ill after eating here. While I can’t say for certain what caused it, I was very concerned by what I observed at the counter — an employee with colored hair and a pierced lip was eating while handling our order, with visible fried chicken crumbs on her lips and hands.
I called the next day to report what happened. The response was a very flat, non-sympathetic “I’m sorry,” and I was told someone from management would follow up. That was a couple of weeks ago, and no one ever did.
Extremely disappointing experience, both in terms of food safety and how the situation was handled afterward.

I will start with saying that as a Louisiana native, Raising Canes is always one of my favorites. This one had a few cleanliness issues such as fries on the floor in a few places, the restroom wasn’t 100%, etc. Otherwise, the food and staff were on point as always. The chicken and cane’s sauce never disappoint.

My overall experience was a 10/10. Customer service was awesome, fast and overall good. Especially with the manager Alex, helping me with my order, he’s very efficient and kind while being so busy with the demand of the restaurant. 100% will be returning. Definitely recommend this place anyone who loves chicken as much as I do
