I enjoyed my dinner.. the bartender made a nice drink and he was very attentive. I got hot and sour soup in a sushi roll. And then I ordered fried rice to go. Everything was great. The thing I like the most is it was very clean in there. I don’t normally sit at the bar but I was very comfortable. Their prices were very compatible.

Food is always very good. Their sushi is amazing. Prices are very reasonable – especially in today’s economy.
When I’m sick the only thing I want is there a hot and sour soup. I’ve tried it at every restaurant in Malden, Everett in Medford and theirs is the best!
Their service is always wonderful. The people that work there are so friendly and accommodating. I did a pick up order and they accidentally gave me wonton soup instead of hot and sour. I called and they told me they would notate so that they would replace it the next time I ordered. Well, I ordered today and when I put it in my cart, it was free.

We enjoyed our dinner at Shanghai Moon. It was around 6:15 PM on. Monday. Not particularly crowded. We were seated immediately, Waters and beverages were served quickly. I can recommend our appetizers – scallion pancakes and egg rolls.
Our entrees were all good- crispy sesame shrimp and sweet sour chicken were both served with white rice. We also had the pineapple fried rice, as well as a poo poo platter. The only criticism was that the batter on the sweet and sour chicken was a bit too heavy.
For all 4 of us, the bill was approximately $105 before tip.
There is bar seating, and they do serve cocktails (we did not indulge). There are also plenty of booths.
There is paid street parking and a paid parking lot around the corner (towards the rear of the we restaurant ).
We would definitely visit again.

This restaurant serves up excellent Chinese cuisine. I highly recommend both the Orange Chicken and the Chicken Lo Mein—they are consistently delicious. While the pricing is slightly above average, I find the cost is justified by the very generous portion sizes. A definite favorite and a must-try in the area!

i ordered via UberEats and got the beef with broccoli, roasted pork lo mein, egg rolls, and ginger sauce. The beef with broccoli was good but the sauce wasn’t as flavorful as i wanted but after adding some soy sauce and sambal oelek it was delicious. the lo mein was flavorful and there was a good amount of pork strips. The egg rolls were crispy but needed some soy sauce and i dipped it in the hot mustard that came with the order (i am not a fan of plum sauce but the one they sent me was pretty good). The ginger sauce is good but not as much ginger flavor as i would like. i would definitely order from the restaurant again.

We love our Shanghai Moon takeout. Our go to is sushi, which is always delicious and at a good price. The fried rice and the crab rangoons are also fire. It has a cozy and friendly environment and bar as well for a sit down meal or drink.

The food was OK, the main issue was that the restaurant is understaffed and the wait time was big because of it. You may need to go yourself to the bartender, which is also the waiter to order or ask sometimes.
They waiter was really friendly, but he just had too many things in his hands to do.

The Bartender Wen is awesome and have been a repeat customer because the atmosphere is awesome especially for Sunday football and honestly any sporting event! The have regulars come in and celebrate birthdays etc! Everyone’s welcomed and it’s a nice lively area!

This place is always a wonderful. Think Sports bar meets Chinese restaurant. From this NYer, definitely, a repeat visitor. Sushi comes beautifully displayed and tastes meet expectations. Quick service, water cup and fountain beverages never empty. Seating can be limited, but, we have not had a problem finding a seat.

Wish I read and LISTENED to these reviews… Recent reviews also!!!!! I’v attached a picture of the gross take out I just got from them. What made me even write this stupid review is because they didn’t answer the phone when I tried to call back to complain about how bad the food was!?!?! Guess it happens all the time, so they just don’t answer the phone when they see a repeat customer!?!? So I just changed the service star to a one star!!!! I paid extra for chicken fried rice… It was all onions (see picture) and stringy bits of chicken, rip off!!!!! Appetizers were just basic gross.
