This place is soooo good. The food is that perfect dinner breakfast. Fresh and filling all good quality. The staff was fun and friendly and just made us feel right at home. Plus size friendly seating if you are big like me you’ll have plenty of butt space. We sat ourselves but didn’t have a long wait. Food came out pretty fast. Unfair it’s not closer to home I’d eat here all the time. Must have if you like a good hearty breakfast.

Busy on a Sunday morning but not a long wait. Traditional diner food, we ordered pancakes, French toast, Farmer’s Skillet–all tasted great. Service was prompt and friendly. Even a discount for paying with cash.

Came for brunch and it did not disappoint! The food was so good! The cinnamon roll was omg! The waitress super sweet and even made a smiley face of whip cream on our daughter’s pancake! Definetly will be back!

A hard to find cafe without even a sign – if you didn’t know it was there, you would never find it. That said, the locals knew about it – every day the waitresses would welcome the regulars by name.
Service was fast, I couldn’t believe how quickly the food arrived. I had the usual- eggs, sausage patties and hash browns; my wife had the same but with a (huge) pancake instead of hash browns. No complaints there. Prices were several dollars below normal 2024 prices.
Our waitress Aleena was exceptional; by the third morning, she welcomed us by name.
I’d gladly go again

This is my favorite place to have a sit down breakfast in spirit lake. The staff is always friendly and the food is always good. It is actually attached to the bowling alley. Tried the farmer’s skillet and was not disappointed. This place has a lot of regulars for good reason.

Not tons of breakfast places in spirit lake, but if you’re looking for cheap eats with solid food check out this place. Country fried steak with eggs hash browns and toast and a side of biscuits amd gravy and oj was around $14. Service was good with the amount of patrons inside and food came out quick. Would definitely recommend this joint over the diner which always seems to be packed

Food is good, but it doesn’t look like in the pictures anymore because they moved to a different part of the building and it’s absolutely filthy! Bathrooms are disgusting… Sadly, because of this, we will never go back

Going in to a dark bowling alley and eating breakfast is a poor combination.
The restaurant is not breakfast barn but instead juniper bar and grill.
Food and service were OK. One entrance near most of the parking is closed and very steep grade for parking on the entrance side.

I love the place! It’s our first time eating there. We were kinda lost while looking for it because it’s no longer Breakfast Barn. It’s a good thing my husband persists in finding it. I had my favorite corned beef hash, and so satisfied with the chunky servings. My husband had a perfect egg Benedict with a running yolk! We will keep coming back. Happy customer here!
